Everyone is welcome to join our group, memberships are open with no approval needed.
We only accept Quirlicorn art. If you have a piece with multiple breeds but at least one is a quirlicorn we will still accept it.
While we do not require Quirlicorn owners to be members of our group, we do highly encourage it in order for all members to stay up to date with the breed. Being a member also makes submitting your wonderful Quirlicorn art much easier since we currently only accept art from members.
Registration:

Ownership Transfers:
Changing ownership of your Quirlicorns is okay but you must let us know by noting the group titled "Quirlicorn Transfer" with the name, ID# and link of your Quirlicorn as well as the new owner.
If you recieved your Quirlicorn through a transfer you must register it as if it were a new Quirlicorn. fav.me/d639rlp

There are five regions to choose from if you have a starter Quirlicorn. Mountains, Plains, Icy, Windy, and Desert
When registering you must pick a region for your Quirlicorn and that region will determine what it will earn as it levels with the Points System as well as the chime it may wear. Each region comes with its own Chime and each Chime can earn more chime tags as your Quirlicorn levels up. Each Chime tag comes with something special for your Quirlicorn. In order to earn your new Chime Tags as you level you must be sure to note us with the information for us to verify that you have indeed leveled and earned a new Chime Tag. Chimes may be worn by the Quirlicorn if they so please. Chimes may be designed by the Quirlicorn owner based on the Chime template above. You may edit colors, minor design etc, as long as you keep the chime the same type as is used in your Quirlicorns region. Breeding:
Breeding is not allowed until your Quirlicorn is an adult. (see point system fav.me/d639qmg)You may not breed your quirlicorn to another horse with the same lineage (may not be related). After all, we don't want derpy Quirlicorns running around now do we? Please be sure to check your Quirlicorns lineages before sending in a breeding note.You must have permission to breed your Quirlicorn to another horse from the other horses owner prior to creating the foal. This means that you must be listed on both the Dam and Sires breeding slots before you will be given genos and be allowed to create your new foal. Adult Quirlicorns have 6 breeding slots and may earn more by earning points (see point system fav.me/d639qmg)You may breed your Quirlicorn to another Quirlicorn from a different region than yours. The foal that comes from the breeding will need to pick one of the two regions. Genos and general breeding process
To send in for Genos, simply note the group tittled "Breeding" and link us to the Sire and Dam (if breeding slots are somewhere other than the ref sheets please link us to that as well so we can verify that you are allowed to use the breeding slots). Once we have looked everything over and things are okay with the breeding we will note you back with genos and region choices (if there is more than one choice for the region) at which point you may design your new foal using our foal lines.
After you have designed your new foal submit it to our foal designs folder for approval. Once it's been accepted to the group your design is approved and you have 60 days to get the reference sheet submitted.
Point System
We've decided to implement a point system for Quirlicorns in order to keep things more fresh and exciting for Quirlicorn members. While we certainly appreciate any members making use and participating in the point system, we do not require it.If you choose to participate in the points system you are responsible for tracking your own points. Quirlicorns are currently a closed breed. If you are interested in owning one you may keep an eye on the group for adoptables or you may try for a breeding spot with existing Quirlicorns.
