Marianne Van Holle is the daughter of the DWP's head scientist. She's a "Genetic Dead End", being unable to produce offspring of her own, and was pretty much guarunteed a life of KG service because of it. (In my head cannon of Haven, due to its closed population, a lot of emphasis is put on maintaining genetic integrity and diversity. Genetic Dead Ends can serve no purpose when it comes to that, so in order to prevent execution or exile so they don't put too much strain on the precious little resources, they usually have to pull more than thier fair share of weight.)

She was enlisted in the KG at age 17, soon after her "condition" was discovered. She became proficient at taking down targets with sniper fire or well-aimed pistol shots and can easily cripple a target in close combat with just a few strikes, more than making up for her lesser muscle strength. She was eagerly grabbed up for important, high-stakes assignments and rose in rank easily.

By the time she turned 21 she had began to be assigned to more classified assignments, such as defending or clearing out classified bases that had become overrun with metal heads and defending them while the new defences came back online, and so on.

It was only a year later that her father was brought in on the DWP as head scientist, and even her impressive clearance couldn't get her to see or speak to him. Five months later, the security systems needed to be remodelled and she was brought in as a guard and hunter, in case any prisoners escaped during the downtime. She was kept on as a guard for three months before she was assigned outside missions again, but as the DWP began taking more preecedence in the baron's eyes she was eventually kept on full-time.

Two months later, Erol (She hates him. Don't ask.) brought in Jak.

She is currently assigned to track down and detain (or neutralise) any DWP escapees.
