Full Name: William Daniel Trueheart

Dislikes: Children, tentacles, cats, frogs, therapists, birds, anything supernatural or bigger and stronger than he is

Personality: Very childish a lot of the time, stubborn and hot-headed. As long as X-1 (his robot companion) is there to urge him to continue being a type-A personality, he probably won't stop.

Bio: Dr. W is a paranoia-filled mad scientist who spent most of his adult life living alone in the woods. Well... mostly-alone, if you count the plethora of Spiderbots he had created to help him in his "lab" (just an old abandoned shack, really). The most trusted of these robots is X-1, the first of the robots whom of which W created as a kid to be his friend.
It's mostly X-1 fault that W is where is he is, though the scientist would never admit that. X-1 practically raised him since his parents were murdered and the robot convinced him to run out onto the streets. The problem is that the robot his a rather big problem with jealousy, and has claimed that W belongs to him and him alone.
W and X-1, as you can imagine, have a rather unhealthy relationship. Despite this, W trusts him immensely as a friend and guardian and will do almost anything the robot tells him.
It convinced him to start doing rather questionable experiments on forest animals. Once that proved not to be good enough, he started testing on kids that wandered into the forest at night (He doesn't go after adults because he's petrified that they'll overpower him due to his skinny physique ). The test subjects don't normally survive the experiments. His countless failures almost seem to be on purpose, though...

W suffers from quite a few trauma-induced mental illnesses including Post-Traumatic stress disorder and multiple personality disorder. High stress levels will cause him to get major migraines, eventually leading to him completely swapping to another personality, whom of which he calls Hyde.
Hyde is almost the complete opposite of W. He's dopey, brainless and acts almost like a brain damaged puppy. His ability to process thoughts and feelings through his brain is nullified as well. He has trouble understanding body language and can badly hurt others without knowing it. He seems persistent as well, being able to endure more pain than W (although W has to deal with whatever damage Hyde takes himself after he flips back).

His constant failures were bound to really mess him up at some point, and now, they have. He never intended to get hurled into the future by a machine he was building, really. Good job, W, you really are a genius.

Other: -Normally in a fight, he will run away until he has no other choice. If he really does have the intention to injure or kill someone, then he mostly relies on keeping hidden. X-1 helps him during a fight by constantly feeding instructions to him.

-W's eyes are very sensitive to light from being cooped up in the dark for so long. He keeps his goggles over his eyes to help him with that.

-His ears are bat ears, so naturally his hearing is very good. Very high pitched sounds and noises (like a dog whistle) will disorient him, however.

-He has a British accent, and overuses British swears quite a bit ("bloody" being the most often used). He also does not often use contractions like "can't" and "won't" and will instead use the longer versions ("cannot", "will not"). He most likely only does this to sound smarter.

-There are no words to describe how bad he smells.
