Dear Deviant, We here at ACG are always looking for new staff.  So...  if you're interested then please read and agree to the following text and then send missimoinsane (founder) a note requesting to be added to ACG and for your starter pack.

Section 1
Introduction

:bulletgreen: Yes it is mandatory that you read all of this information as it contains all the relevant information on how to be a successful staff member with in this group.  I appreciate that it’s a lot to read however it is essential as 99% of questions asked by deviants, who claim to have read this information, ask questions which are answered in this information and most commonly answered multiple times throughout!

:bulletgreen:  FYI not ALL links in this document work for none staff.  However all relevant information can be seen once you’re staff.

:bulletgreen: It is mandatory that ALL STAFF spend a minimum of one hour a week on AnotherContestGroup working and updating their forums to show they have been active.  Staff must add a minimum of 15 contests per month or 45 per pay period. This doesn't include contests you've approved to enter the directory, but ones you've found and added yourself from notes, comments, or searching.

:bulletgreen: All “Super Staff” are now Co-Founders, please acknowledge their authority and respect them as you would missimoinsane, the Founder.  Contributors have their own role with in the group.  

:bulletgreen: It is mandatory that ALL STAFF add our group icon/user link to their signature.  Eg AnotherContestGroup

:bulletgreen: All staff must donate to at least the 1st place winners of the winners package, for more information please see our FAQ anothercontestgroup.deviantart… or speak with Missvirginia (who runs the winners package).   Additionally it is also essential that all staff donate to contests hosted by AnotherContestGroup.  You do not have to donate to the contests we promote but that is up to you.  Prizes can be something as little as a llama badge or a journal feature but we'd love if we could give something more!!

:bulletred: We no longer promote Kiriban or Pending contests. And we do not promote giveaways by themselves, refer giveaways to our co-sponsor FreeGiveaways.

Section 2
Announcements & Forums

:bulletred: Announcements;
Only Founder, Co-Founders (Super Staff), Contributors and Donators are to use this application.  This shall be used to give group updates, information and important announcements.

:bulletgreen: Forums;  
Any forums or threads marked {Founder & Co-Founder Only} such as the all staff requirements please make sure unless you’re a founder or co-founder that you do not edit these – thank you.

 Forums can be found in the Admin Area and usually in alphabetical order.  Upon being added to staff the founder / co-founder who added you should set up your forum in Admin Area along with your Starter Pack.  If you do not have a forum; then please contact missimoinsane.  Forums are easy to use and edit.  Simply click on the little pencil on the top right of the bounding box.  The title of your threads with the date last edited. Please make sure to only create and/or edit threads in your own forum.  Please don't post multiple threads per month unless exceeding data allowance.  It is important to record your work in your forum so we have an idea of how active you are, if you're going to be inactive, and also so we have a backup  in case something happens to the journals.  It is also a record of work done so you can receive points payments!  An additional use is to write down notes/memos to yourself etc.  Staff Access to more Forum Information

Section 3
Submitting & Approving contests

:police: You no longer are to edit journals!  Which means you no longer need to sign in or out!  You can download the app here All submitting, voting, and editing can be done by using the navigation bar on this page here The directory is here Contest Directory

When approving contests, please check the contests (the link of which is in "Journal: [Contest Name]") to make sure the user added the correct codes including themes and prizes. More importantly, make sure they're actually contests. A contest, by our group's standard, is an event where people exhibit their talents and skills by creating artworks according to the theme/challenge set by the host. Take care in distinguishing the difference.

Section 4
Starter Pack Information

Upon your forum being created a 'starter pack' will be posted in to your forum.  It is mandatory that all new staff complete with in the first week, or staff membership will be terminated.  

The tasks as mentioned are simple and include a paragraph introduction to the starter pack.  For everyone who has read all of the “Staff Requirements” there shouldn’t be any questions you need to ask nor any difficulties in completing the ‘starter pack’.  By getting to your starter pack you have already completed task 1 of 8!  The next part is also very straight forward finding A contest we’re not already promoting and submitting that contest to the directory.  You then need missimoinsane or a co-founder member to confirm what you have done is correct and that you can continue to task 7 which is creating a new forum thread and starting working – fin.  Not so hard.  Please also remember to copy the contest from your SP to your forum so you get paid for the contest listing!


Section 5
Voting Submissions on Our Hosted Contests

It has come to our attention that a lot of deviants are submitting anything to our galleries/favs.  We therefore put on a "vote" system where we expect 2-3 votes from staff before it's approved.  Please make sure and/or ask the deviant to provide a link to AnotherContestGroup to say it's for our (fill in the name) contest in their their artwork description.  

Section 6
Responding to Notes and Comments

:bulletgreen: It is essential that you go straight to the source of a comment!  If you find the comment in your inbox it is also notified all other staff so thus it's possible it's already been answered.  A simple way to save on time would be to go straight to the source Eg:  DevUser commented on Group Profile Comments - so go straight to the group profile page, scroll down to comments and then respond if it hasn't been responded too already.  This goes the same for all comments made to the group be it on main group page (profile), forum, journal or poll etc...  The only time you don't have to worry about this is if it's a note then you can see in the open note for any responses!  Please be aware that a note may say “1 comment response” however, it might be the original sender who commented with additional information as appose to a staff member responding!  So please DO check.

:bulletgreen: Please respond to a note to let the user know you are acting upon his/her request.  If you are not sure how to answer a question or perform an action requested by the user, please mark it with a star for attention from a founder or co-founder.

:bulletgreen: Please make sure if someone informs us of their contest; that you respond to that note/comment to inform the deviant(s) that we have seen their comment/note and their contest has now been listed.  Then also comment on their contest information journal to notify them we are listing it  Your comment should be similar to what is below, but feel free to edit it to fit your voice:

"Hi, I am here on behalf of AnotherContestGroup I (username) have submitted your contest to our new Contest Directory here [link].

Feel free to contact us if you have any deadline/details that need changing or any questions (be sure to check our FAQ first!)  

We did this to help get your contest more noticed, as we have nearly 10,000 watchers all with a common interest of contests - perhaps watch us if you're not already!!  

-Also, if you're low on prizes to offer, see if you qualify for our FREE Winners Package by checking out our FAQ (link).  
-Also if your interested in an exclusive poll feature for a minimum cost of 75 dA points please (2 days) check out (link to poll feature journal).

Section 7
Live Chat Event Meeting

(LCEM) A Live Chat Event Meeting is pretty much as it says on the tin it’s a live chat held in our ACG Chat Room where we host these event meetings when it is felt necessary.  All are welcome to these meetings not just ACG staff!  Everyone will have a chance to voice their opinions.   We raise suggestions put to us by both staff and none staff also in aid to improve the group.

Each of these meetings will include several different topics of chat these are based on all suggestions, ideas and questions regarding ACG but we will also broaden the topic to be about improvements, changes and even none ACG chat.  

From now on the results of LCEM can be found Staff Access Area  this link is also in the ‘staff quick links box’ in Admin Area.  The forum itself can be found 2nd to bottom of all forums above Staff Requirements Forum.

Section 8
Winners Package & Information

The “Winners Package” is a free prize awarded to contests however for the up to date information as seen in deviants FAQ anothercontestgroup.deviantart… please go to the link.

The Winners Package or WP is as mentioned a free prize (or set of prizes) awarded to contests.  The Winners Package is guaranteed to offer a 2 week journal feature, exclusive admittance into our gallery to be seen by hundreds if not thousands of our watchers, along with prizes to the 1st place winners of each contest from our staff.   Also, some members and staff offer items such as llamas, features, and art as prizes, but we do not guarantee your winners will get them, and we have no control over whether those that offer prizes will give them out.  We can only guarantee the feature of the winners in our blog (submitted every other Friday) and be entered into our gallery collection of “Contest Winners”.  Also our “Contest Winners” gallery is displayed in slideshow on both our main page and our journal area page.  

Due to the popularity of our Winners Package, we have made some adjustments to our WP to not only improve the quality, but also lessen the burden of organizing and posting it.

Requirements
:bulletgreen: The contest host must be a member, or in a group's case, an affiliate with ACG
:bulletgreen: The request for the WP must be made by active contests BEFORE the end of the contest.
:bulletgreen: Any winning entries that do not abide by dA's rules or are missing a Mature Content feature when needed based on dA's guidelines will not be included in the feature.

Revisions
:bulletgreen: Results will now be posted every month again.
:bulletgreen: A new journal will be made for the WP instead of editing and resubmitting the same journal that way if a person wishes to add their feature to their favourites they can do so.  
:bulletgreen: All winners will receive the feature in our journal and their artwork added to our gallery however only the 1st place winners of each contest will receive additional prizes such as llamas and/or features etc donated by the staff.
