Pride: Lakelands

Personality:
Despite his bulk, Tinashe is a gentle soul. He is quiet and passive, a good listener. A lover more than a fighter, he prefers to use reason to solve conflict rather than violence, with force being only a last resort. His distaste for violence doesn't mean he's incapable of defending himself however, enough challengers have learned that lesson the hard way. He prefers a life of peace, which is what drew him to the Lakeland pride in the first place. Tinashe will offer help to anyone that would ask him for it.

Tinashe is one that rises early and finds himself a nice spot with a good view of the sunrise. When off duty, he can often be found belly up in a sunny spot or wandering around enjoying the landscape.

Skilled fighter and a capable hunter.

History:
Born into a highly constricting and militaristic pride, Tinashe was trained to fight since he was strong enough to run. Physically, he was everything the pride wanted in a male lion, although his views and personality clashed with the standard mentality. Following his inspection upon reaching adulthood, he was deemed unfit for command due to his lack of outright aggression. He hated the idea of becoming just another soldier following orders so he snuck away from his pride in the dead of night. For several years Tinashe wandered around as a rouge. During this time he met the lioness that birthed his two cubs. Unfortunately for him, her pride was a strictly lioness-only pride and he was forbidden to stay with her. Tinashe asked her to leave with him, to find another pride or start one of their own, but she didn't wish to abandon her pride sisters. Tinashe parted ways with his little family, never to see them again.

For several years more, Tinashe looked for a pride that would take him in, but all the ones he met were either unwilling to take in a rouge or did not agree with his ideas of peace. Eventually he found his way into the Lakelands Pride territory which he now calls home and will readily defend.

Other Notes:
- Blind in his right eye -> Received in a fight with another male during his time as a rouge
- He doesn't like being approached from his blind side, can be jumpy or lash out if startled
- Despises Desertland lions, hates their ideology. Be careful when approaching him if you're a Desertlander male
- Will serve his King and Queen without question, be they current rulers or future
- Doesn't take kindly to insults towards the royal family
