I've messed with this idea in the past, thanks to my friend 
for having me revisit it, it works great this time around! I'll be adding more detailed pictures of the mechanism so you can reproduce it, BUT:

Oh and the weird little triangle by the nose area is just a stopper so the lips wouldn't go TOO far up.
