Wow such good timing, submitting the Arc 2 app as Arc 2 is close to ending! Wall of text incoming.

Peter – Zorua
Age: Adult

Bio: Not much is known about Peter’s past. Born in Alomomola City from a Gambitville family, ever since he was a kit he was encouraged to be independent, and he left his home quite early. Before joining the Rogues, he used to spend most of his time in the wilderness or in the surroundings of Gambitville, where he made very few close friends, but as an adult, he started approaching Alomomola City more often, and took an interest in gambling, which awarded him with a certain amount of money.
Once in Alomomola, and with Rexa by his side, he tried to put his illusory powers to use as he intended to open a small gambling spot wherein he would trick his visitors into giving away their money by making them believe that they were winning. Luckily for the most gullible Pokémon, this project never came true because Anana never agreed to make a contract for him, as she didn’t see his activity as a profitable one compared to King’s Rock Casino.
Him and Rexa moved to Tao Village to try and open the booth there, but they were met with PK’s opposition. Thus, they affiliated with the Rogues and Peter is currently trying to make money off the guild’s activities, but he still hasn’t given up on the booth.

Personality: Peter is an outgoing individual and never afraid to speak his mind: he feels no hindrance in being provocative and snarky, even when confronted with Pokémon much bigger than him. Despite his age, his demeanor is rather childish and he seems not to take many things seriously. His personality is a jolly and active one and he easily gets on people’s nerves, which he finds rather funny. While fizzy most of the times, his behavior is very unstable and he sometimes goes into fits of sadness or rage, that are buffered by his partner, but if nobody is around, he may end up hurting someone or (all the more likely) himself. He is currently trying to put an end to this emotional unbalance.
Despite being a seemingly superficial person, Peter is really quite insightful and he is especially good at telling people’s mood. He is quite a good writer and he has written a few songs that he has given to his musician friends to perform. However he seldom writes, these days.

Battle technique: Peter doesn’t particularly enjoy using his moves (with a special aversion for Dark Pulse) and he’d rather fight physically, or using items he gets from his surroundings. His dislike for the use of moves is currently unexplained. He often mocks his opponent and doesn’t mind resorting to foul play.

Rexa – Tranquill
Age: Young adult

Bio: Rexa doesn’t remember much about her childhood. Her egg was found abandoned by a river and brought to an hatchery. She grew up in a daycare until one day Peter didn’t show up and “adopted” her, making her his assistant (she was an adolescent at that point). While wary of him at first, Rexa warmed up to him and they have been together ever since. As a team, they resorted to trickery to make money, a thing she enjoys quite a lot.
She was reunited with her family after some time: they recognized her from the peculiar traits associated with her lineage (the spade-like pattern on her tail, and the slightly different pattern of her mask and chest feathers). As it turned out, she hadn’t been willingly abandoned, but rather her egg rolled out of the nest during a storm and miraculously made it intact to Alomomola City’s outskirts. It is unknown how exactly the egg ended up there, but possibly it was brought there by the river. Ever since she met with her relatives, Rexa feels the need to drop by her home place every now and then and spend some time with them.
She joined the Rogues guild with Peter as soon as the applications were opened. Nowadays, she has a bone to pick with the Merchants and PK in particular, as the Sorbet rampage left her very sick and injured and unable to fly for a long time. During the events of the rampage, Peter couldn’t find anyone who would be willing to help her (which is justifiable, given what was happening in those moments) so they left the city together and tediously made their way through Creeping Forest to meet with some of her relatives that lived nearby, where they stayed as guests until the events of Mission 8 and Anana’s takeover, to which they contributed.

Personality: Rexa, despite her quick temper, puts up very well with Peter’s unstable personality. She is a very determined Pokémon and she can get angry when she doesn’t get what she wants. Usually she tries to convince other Pokémon to do what she wants by being flirty and getting confidential with them. She is rather sneaky this way, but not everybody falls for it.
She fights alongside Peter, helping him in his trickery, and usually doesn’t claim to be his womanly voice of reason: she often acts in complete accord with him and understands what he is about to do or what he wants at a glance. Like him, she can get snarky, and she is very direct and blunt in the way she addresses people, a thing Peter appreciates.
She is more than a simple partner for him, though: she is also a loving friend and a trusted companion, and Peter is the same to her. She is generally jolly and amiable, although she can become quite caustic if she doesn’t approve of something or someone.
Despite the Sorbet incident leaving her bitter about Tao, she looks back fondly at the period she spent there before the rampage. She hates the fountain with a burning passion and would rather see it sink into the ground.

Battle technique: Rexa is traditionalist when it comes to battling: she’s glad to use her moves and enjoys making a show out of her fighting performances, usually pulling daring stunts as she battles her opponent. Speed is her main strength, as she is not very strong physically, and she uses it to confound her foes in order to attack them while they’re distracted. Only if this doesn’t work out she will attack them directly.
