Doctor Who And The Nightmare In Silver (2013) Full

Another Target book homage, this time of Neil Gaiman's Nightmare In Silver, an episode which got mixed reviews, but I thoroughly enjoyed.

This one's based on Bill Donohoe's fantastic cover to the 80s reprint of Doctor Who And The Cybermen (the Target version of The Moonbase). The original cover had slightly gold-hued 60's Cybermen, and the logo was in red. I tried that, but it just didn't suit the new, sleek metal beasties, so I swapped it for a rather hideous shade of blue (this book's been sun-damaged after sitting in a second-hand bookshop for years!) This gave me the opportunity to swap the moon on the original image for the beautiful destroyed Tiberian Galaxy in the TV episode. It all seemed to fit together quite well.
