To read my opinions on pricing, go here:  About PricingAlright, I know this is a huge thing in the adoptable community (or, well, the art community in general). I just want to say that, while I know for some my prices may be seen as overpriced, in most cases they are auction adoptables and thus people only pay what they're comfortable with (and whether that be $10 or $100+, please be respectful to the people who do choose to spend their money as they like).
I personally feel the art community is urged to underprice themselves. You don't have to agree with me, but that's what I've gathered from seeing artists over the years. But I'm going to talk about my art for this, specifically adoptables, so here's my breakdown: people are purchasing, not only character art, but the time it took to make as well as a character design. What that may be worth to one person may be worth something completely different to another, so I ask that you please respect that.
For auction prices going too high--I can't agree that there should be a point where

I decided to make a more formal entry to prevent any future confusion over my adoptables, don't mind this lkmdg mostly just separating the earlier entry I made on guidelines + pricing so people don't think they have to read my rant on pricing LKMSG. while it's obvious I'm not very formal in my entries like this so please bear with me, I just want to get the basic gist across in an easy and understandable way. i hope to clean up my page to make all this stuff easy and accessible to find but i suck at coding anything so lol cries waits for seventy-three years

By purchasing an adoptable from me, you agree to the following:

:bulletblue: Upon purchasing, you own the character. You may do whatever you wish with them, including using them for commercial work, you just can not use my art commercially.
:bulletblue: Please credit me for the design where necessary.
:bulletblue: Trading the adopt is fine, but if possible I'd like to be notified of where it goes (not necessary, but it would be appreciated, as I'd like to change who the character belongs to on the deviation to prevent any confusion!)
:bulletblue: You may resell the adopt but for no more than what you spent on it. I'd also like to know where it goes, as stated above.
:bulletblue: I still retain the right to post the art of the adoptable in my gallery/portfolio. I will credit ownership of the character to whomever bought them, of course!
:bulletblue: If you have purchased one of my adoptables and would like the amount spent not to be public, you can notify me and I will hide necessary comments and remove the price from the deviation.

Extras

:bulletblue: If you would like a flat color palette of an adoptable you have purchased, please tell me and I'll send it to you! I realize that the way I color can make the base colors be more questionable, so this is really no problem.
:bulletblue: While I occasionally add extras during an auction's duration, please remember I am not obligated to do so.
:bulletblue: If you're okay with it, I may do occasional doodles of adoptables bought from me. If so, you won't need to pay anything for them and you can consider them a gift!
:bulletblue: While I may not publicly open for commissions, I may consider them if they are for adoptables purchased from me. If interested, send me a note and we can talk about it. If I come up with a price range when I have more time, I'll post a journal about it. However realize I never take payment first because, as it's not really something I am set on doing (commissions, customs), there's a chance I may drop it. In these occasions, I offer a lot more leeway on payment because I don't want someone holding onto money to pay me for something that I may not get done for weeks/months/at all sdmgkl.
