`Ravenswd and I are happy to announce the winners of the 3rd annual Relativity contest. This year's theme was "Romantic Love."

Once again, judging was difficult. Even though we didn't have an overly-large number of entries, the ones we had were amazing. We debated a lot, and at the end it came down to the criteria we usually fall back on...STORY.  Was there a story behind the pairing? Did we want to learn more about this couple? Was the couple well thought-out?  For the literature, did the story grab us? Did we want to see more of this couple?  After a lot of deliberation, and using that as our main focus, we came to our decision. So, without further ado, the winners...

I did not place, but I really appreciate the comments the judges provided ALL the entries!
This certainly was not an easy contest to judge!

This is my entry for Relativity Love Contest:
Valentine's Contest - CLOSED A very nice turn-out with 18 entries. As there is some longer lit to read and judge, as well as some detailed commentary with the visual pieces submitted, judging may take a little while. We hope to announce the winners soon, but please be patient as there are so many lovely entries, it's gonna take a bit of time to decide the winners.

In celebration of Valentine's Day (which is today) we are hosting a Relativity contest! Note, this theme is a bit different than our past contests, so be sure to read everything.
The theme is Romantic Love
Just what that means depends on you. Perhaps it's a shipping of two characters. Perhaps it's unrequited love where one side gives and the other doesn't reciprocate. Perhaps it's a tainted love that ends with screams and gunshots.
Who's in love? That's up to you, and you have TWO options:
One of your original characters paired up with one of the Relativity OCs.

I decided to pair up Relativity's Zephyra with my OC Carl. My figuring was this: She's a very spunky and physical girl and a super hero no less! Carl is a mellow guy who is very confident in himself and his "masculinity". If anyone is going to appreciate a girl being true to herself, it would be Carl, and having fun with all that comes wrapped up in that package of spunk!

On an artistic side - I love my composition, but am annoyed that I was having difficulties inking the picture (my pencil sketch was WAY awesome! I'm only sorry not all the parts I loved transferred well to ink and color!) Still, I'm excited and proud I got it out of my head AND several days before the deadline! (granted the deadline had been extended! Still, it's sooner than my usual "one minute before the deadline" submission habit! )

Now to go finish my entry for Em's contest! I was working on the last part of both entries at the same time, but figured I finish this one first as the deadline was sooner (yes, by a day, but still sooner!)

On a random note: Does anyone consider "panties" to be under "Mature theme"?
