Personality: Benehime seems like an all work, no play type upon first impression. She takes her job seriously and is very obedient and cooperative under saddle. One might say anyone could ride her, but this is not true. She is very sensitive to leg aides, and an inexperienced rider could accidentally urge her into a gallop without meaning to do so. However, once you spend a little more time around her, she does have a soft center to her all-business outer shell. She loves to eat banana, and really enjoys being groomed. She would always choose to cuddle and spend time with “her” humans when given the opportunity.
