This was a long awaited request for 
he intially wanted "gummy with a realistic alligator" and I took that, while adding my own little twist to it.(I hope he doesen't mind)
Basically Pinkie pie is trying to get Gummy off the alligators back by using a fishing rod to lure it(made out of a twig and a "reed" I think....) not realizing that she is strangling the alligator in the process. Meanwhile Fluttershy's reaction is as expected.
This is my first time attempting water digitally as well as trying to add more texture to my pictures. As far as the grass is concerned it may look different in certain areas in the background. This was due to my previous grass tool being deleted halfway through this.
Any feedback on this picture is appreciated. I want this to be my main style for my digital art from now on, and any imperfections I would like to iron out for the sake of my future pictures.

Overall
Vision Originality Technique ImpactI think my critique will be most effective if I list out pros and cons.
Pros:
-The expressions are priceless (especially Pinkie's) <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt="
" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=" (Big Grin)"/>-Excellent shading, especially with the water and certain parts such as pinkie's rod, her leg and hoof, and the alligator splashing out of the water.
-The entire idea of what's going on here is pretty funny
-The water appears murky and has cool ripples, which adds to it's effect.
Cons:
-Different parts of the picture appear to be unable to decide what angle they are at (namely the trees and ground), as well as depth (I can't quite tell how big or how distant the parts in the background are) though I would chalk this up to having to freehand most of the picture, and for doing so each of these is fantastic.
-some of the characters appear to have a white outline around them (pinkie, the choking gator) which stands out quite a bit and detracts slightly from the scene.
-The splashes of water around the choking gator appear kinda smokey. They also don't stand out a whole lot from the rest of the water, so it's not 100% clear what it is.
-The alligator back Gummy is standing on appears much brighter than the rest of it, however that is likely shading.
-The background is sort of lacking plant and animal life, but if there were more it might be distracting from what's going on, so take that as you will. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="19" height="19" alt="
" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="234" title="Shrug"/>Please don't take any of this the wrong way. You are light years ahead of anything I could ever DREAM of doing. You are indeed an excellent artist. These are simply things that I saw that I liked and disliked.
