Thanks go out to :iconxxprincess-saurxx: for allowing me to practice my newb digital skills on her OC, Jessie. :meow: Please don't mind the glasses. They were added as a last, lazy afterthought. ^^;

Thank you for looking, and any feedback is appreciated!

I'd rather give a brief comment but sure I'll give you a critique even though I'm not good at it!

First of all I'd like to say that the colouring is fine along with the character, although I see some anatomical and perspective wrongs.

The feet don't look like they're in one place and if they are they're in the wrong places, you see what you're doing is you're making it look isometric, that goes with the glasses too. As for anatomy, again with the feet, or should I say legs, they look as if they're facing front and one is on higher ground. The arms don't look human because they don't have shape, along with the body. I won't say anything about the neck and head though because I know it's with the style.

For shading and lighting, I think it looks fine, although the shading and lighting in the hair looks like they come from different sources. There should be one light source and there are more than one it shouldn't spread like that. The lines look unclean but the colouring isn't bad, you picked the right colours, kudos to that.

I didn't mean to say things that straightforward but I had to point out the mistakes first so that you can learn from them.
If you're using photoshop and you don't have a tablet, I suggest using the Pen tool and using Pressure simulation to make the lines look more cleaner, and never use the Dodge and Burn tools.
Always find a light source and let it stay there, if you want to put in more then define the shadows for the first before doing the second.
You should work on your anatomy and perspective, there are tons of tutorials and studies just floating in the internet waiting for you to read/watch them.

I hope I helped.
