Update log:
10-10-22 - Updated the Import section to add our latest Approved Colorists (Designers) to the team!
4.28.21 - Removed the ref forms from this journal and added the link to another journal which already contains all that necessary information. Reason for this is the info that was here was a bit behind. Hopefully with the info not being in so many places it will help us all be on the same page and less room for error/confusion/frustration. :3 (sorry I didn't notice this sooner!)

10/2/16:
- Added reference template
- Added foal template
- In order to receive a Peafowl Friesian you must be a member of the group first!
- Please register your PeaFries here after creating a reference for them.
- Treat each other with respect, no stealing from anyone, breaking the rules or trying to cheat the system.
- These rules may change at any time.
- You may only order an import of a Common or Uncommon or Holiday (based on the calender) color with any of the Normal mane types (minus ornate and wave). You may also choose to have Dun, Pied, Blackshoulder, White Flame, and Silvering markings on your import.
- Imports are only solid colors, you cannot order hybrids.
- Pre-made Imports can not be sold until they've been approved and accepted into the group. Please mark as ON HOLD if someone shows interest before hand.
- You must have permission from the owners of the PeaFries in order to breed them!
- PeaFries may only be bred to other PeaFries. However, normal Peacock/Peahens cannot be bred to Peacock-Pheasants.
- Most PeaFries have unlimited breeding spots, the only ones that have limited breeding spots are Imperials and Imperial hybrids. Pure Imperial Males only have 4 breeding spots while Pure Imperial Females only have 3. Hybrid Imperial Males only have 6 breeding spots while Hybrid Imperial Females only have 5. *Breeding Imperial hybrids will lower the import rate next year.
- PeaFries must have an adult reference before they can be bred! (References do not require unique lines) Make sure you link to the accepted foal/import design in the artist comments! (The reference may not be the foal or import design cropped and re-uploaded)
- References must be submitted to the group and out of sta.sh before breeding can take place.
- In order to breed your PeaFries you must note the group with links to the parents (their designs must of been accepted into the group) , the breeding pictures, and the exact color of the parents. You cannot breed your Peafries without sending in a note.
- Breedings can not be done if the horses are or would result in inbreeding.
- One breeding picture per roll is required. Breeding Pictures may be headshots, chibis, your horses as actual peafowls (bird pictures need to be mostly full body though) and do not need backgrounds. Breeding pictures CANNOT be on linearts - each image must be unique.
- Breeding picture must be linked in the artist comments of the foal's design.
- Please DO NOT delete foal designs. You may move them to your scraps if you wish, or have the new owner re-upload them (with a link back to the original), but in that case you may not delete them until it has been accepted into the group via the new upload.
HOW TO BREED in more detail,
please REFER TO THIS JOURNAL -->
- Foal markings must somewhat resemble the parents.
- Do not steal designs or heavily reference designs made by others.
- Link to both the breeding picture and parents of the foal in the artist comments.
- Link to the breeding note in the artist comments.
- Do not change what the generator rolled for you, you cannot pick and choose what colors/markings/mutations your foal has.
- Do NOT remove foal designs! Foal designs must be accepted into the group and linked back to on references. If you must remove them, please contact the group and owner(s) first!
If your foal design is deleted without warning, please contact the group. You will be told to remake the foal design, but you MUST contact the group first so we know what's going on!
- Do not resubmit foal designs unless they have expired!
- May NOT have copyrighted logos, designs, or characters incorporated into them (inspiration is fine, copying isn't!)
- You have two (2) weeks after an admin tells you fix a design in order to fix it. If this is not completed on time, the breeding will be voided and the breeding pictures will not able to be used for a repeated breeding.
If you need more time, you just have to ask - this is to prevent foals from rotting in our inbox!
- Foal designs MUST be colored entirely digitally or entirely traditionally. Lines can be traditional and colored digitally, or digital and colored traditionally, but there should no longer be overlaps of digital and traditional coloring.
This rule is added because, for example, white digital markings over top a non-colored white sheet of paper would make it seem like the base color of the horse isn't white (when in theory it would be), or that the markings are luminescent, among other reasons.
- ALL FOALS UPLOADED STARTING JANUARY 1, 2017 SHOULD CONTAIN THE FOLLOWING TEMPLATE IN THE DESCRIPTION:
Breeding Note:
Breeding Image:
Sire Name:
Sire Reference:
Sire Geno:
x
Dam Name:
Dam Reference:
Dam Geno:

EX:
1. [Owner's Username]

2. [Owner's Username]
Black Filly
Solid Mane, carries Fade
Limit to one breeding pair per foal sheet
Limit to one breeding note per foal sheet, even if it's the same breeding pair
Limit to one breeding pair per breeding image (no more than 2 horses per sheet)
Place foals on sheet in the same order as rolled genos
Foals should be numbered or at least made clear to which one is which]
- The design must be clear; a drawing of the leg, back of the head, etc. is not okay for a reference. It must be at least a headshot with the facial markings visible.
- The design on the reference must match the original design -- you may not change a Peafrie just because you want to
- The import or foal image cannot be used as a reference - the reference must be done on a new lineart or redrawn entirely. Minor edits made to foal lineart in order to use it as a reference are not accepted.
- Lineage is required. Even if it's just Lineage: Starter, you still must have it in the description.
- You may add any additional information you desire to personalize your Peafrie. Whether it be personality, training type, if they have a theme song, whatever you like!
- The account on which a PeaFrie's ref is uploaded is the ONLY account that should be submitting it to the group! This means, if you post your refs on a side account, you should submit them to the group FROM THAT SIDE ACCOUNT. Do not get on your main account and submit the refs from there. This goes for shared accounts as well. It slows things down, gets confusing, and creates a back-log when an account that did NOT upload a deviation submits to a group folder.
To get the REFERENCE FORM for you to include with the ref image
please refer to this journal :: --->
It also breaks it down in a bit more detail to help you understand in case you like to know why we ask for things a certain way and if you get it all right from the start, we can get it approved faster. I promise we have reasons for what we ask but we still try to keep it easy on everyone in the long run to keep things fun and smooth. <3
Other notes:
- Please keep in mind that Peafries are based on Friesian horses, which generally have heights between 14.2hh and 17hh. Either of these "extremes" would be considered a stretch. Pygmy Peafries *are* and *will be* a thing, and you cannot just decide to make your horse a pygmy!
- If you are going to list "Peahen" or "Peacock" for your horse, you must still include the sex. There can be Peahen Stallions and Peacock Mares!

Changes to Reference, Foal SubmissionsHello everyone! This journal will address the new reference and foal templates that members will be required to fill out for references and foals upon submission to the group. All references and foals uploaded starting January 2017 will be required to use these templates. All current references/foals and those accepted before 2017 will not be required to change their information templates, unless they are re-uploaded to a new account/user, or removed and resubmitted to the group.
The rules around using templates were added October of 2016. All other rules in General Rules and How To Breed also apply. It is recommended that whenever you see the rule journal updated that you take a look, as it means important things have been added! While we do want there to be freedom with

New Group Registration Information (Please Read!)
A registered Peafrie is one who has it's design uploaded into the ADMIN ACCOUNT account and has a reference in the group.
Once your design is uploaded into the account after you post it on the Design Hub, that is your all-clear to begin to draw your horse a reference.
All references from the old group will go through a thorough look over, any and all incorrections will be commented on and need to be fixed before it can be accepted. Even if it was accepted into the old group or if it was on a starter design!
The reference must be titled "ID NAME" (more can be added but the ID must come first.
Free-to-use lineart and the such is allowed.

New Group Breeding Information (Please Read!)
Hello! This journal is basically to show you the new breeding rules for the new group since breedings were the most talked/worried about in the last journal. They will not go into effect until we move and you will be given a timeframe to get in your last few breedings before these come into effect.
You will have up to 4 separate breedings a month with the option of 5 confirmed foals. Meaning, if you send in 4 breedings and ask for 5 foals for each, you can have 20 foals (not including the chance for twins) AND you don't have to sell/design/donate before you can send in another breeding the following month.
After reading through it, if you sti
REVAMP AND THOUGHTS - Your opinion is wanted!
Hello everyone! As I am sure you have noticed by now, the Peafowl-Friesian group has slowed to a crawl. We plan on making some changes to the group in order to get things back up, active, running, and chock full of new fun things to do. HOWEVER - we want to get input from members, whether you’re super active or not, and see where you guys stand on certain ideas. It’s important to see where exactly members stand on these ideas and whether they are things that you would like to see in the group, don’t particularly care for, or don’t mind either way. Some of these things are more set in stone, while others are very lenien

Question in regards to linking back to the original design on a reference sheet, I'm getting back into the breed after a long break and in going back to my old references in order to redraw them I'm finding a hand full of designs (including ones I've only ever drawn a headshot of) no longer have their original/foal images do to images being deleted/accounts deactivating/ect. Will is just linking the designer (or their deactivated account) and adding a dead link in this case okay? And in the case of the ones I only have headshots of with no access to the original full body, do I just have to scrap them or am I allowed to try and recreate a body for them using their lineage?
