Empty white wide open visible vacant abandoned in rain watered mid-stroke; this small shadowed space I held without hope. Tomorrow? Purchased birth of transit stretch, of longed for arms, of stranger views and startled eyes; tomorrow's fresh breathed banked and embered desires repose in rooms where others smoked and ate and dawdled in boredom as will I.

Tomorrow's pace will slow; tomorrow's time will stretch infinite, will drag with each motion of Marvin's seconds count. Days to hours to minutes to breath held moment's passage. Portals open at this leap and flight to future panting brown-eyed smiling open winged night-moth twinned, joined and held forever sister.

Cocoon silk drifts in afternoon airs, all the threaded past, all the spun pain, all the heated hot of woven constraint, all the darkened tight; let go. These wings, these many gossamer wings of me, take flight tonight, a pause to breathe; "We become our next delight."
