How To - Breeding

Breeding Slots:

Every Snjorrir comes with a default 5 breeding slots. This means that you do not need to reach any achievements or do anything special in order to use these slots - they're yours to do with as you please~
Public breeding to other Snjorrirs is encouraged - we even offer you a compensation of sorts for offering up one of your valuable slots to other members of the community <3 For further info, please read up on the Achievements and Rewards section.

On Inbreeding:

Not allowed.

On Crossbreeding:

Crossbreeding outside of the Snjorrir breed is strictly prohibited, with the exception of ancestoral blood. This means your Snjorrir can be bred to a Snjorstur Draught without fear of repercussions. The resulting foal can also be considered a pure Snjorrir so long as it carries all the necessary physical traits. Snjorrir-Snjorstur crosses also have the bonus of being much calmer and better mannered than those of the pure warhorse variety.

Noting the Group:

It IS necessary to note the group when you wish to breed your Snjorrir. When noting, please make sure the title of the note expressly states that you are noting about a breeding. Inside your note, you must then include:
Be sure the horse is 5 years of age to breed
The sire (including a link to his ref and the breeding slot with your name listed)
The dam (including a link to her ref and the breeding slot with your name listed)
The coat colour and genotypes of both parents.
