Accepting Applications for Administrator Positions at Unframed-Nature is now: OPEN!
Introduction
Before you apply, please know that volunteering for a large and active group here on dA, such as Unframed-Nature is a real and true commitment, which will take up some of your time on at least a weekly basis, maybe more.
Unframed-Nature is special in many ways, but from an Administrative view point, it is very special because we have always had good luck with our current Administrators, most of which have been with the Group, as Administrators, for a very long time.
We are a very friendly Team, both with each other, and with the Members, as well. This means when we do have to decline works, we do give a reason, and we are friendly about it.  It means, that upon occasion if there is something that we disagree about within the Admin. Team, we disagree nic

And remember, it is NOT as formal as it looks, and of course you do NOT need to know everything,
but it is a very helpful tool for us to assess who might know what.

Currently In Progress- AUGUST'S THEME: "TWO OF A KIND"

RULES & GUIDELINES
One Entry Per Member
TWO of ANYTHING VERY Similar in Nature,
knowing there is no two things exactly alike, not even twins!
But the MORE a like the better!
FOR EXAMPLE: TWO flowers preferably of the same kind, TWO flower PETALS, TWO leaves, TWO trees, TWO horses, TWO dogs, TWO cats, TWO drops of water, TWO seashells, TWO butterflies, TWO birds, etc. ...
Do NOT submit ONE of anything. Do NOT submit THREE or MORE of something!
What you submit, MUST be subjects purely of nature- in other words, do NOT submit two human beings, cars, or buildings...
This caters easily to a WIDE RANGE of Media! So as far as I can tell, ALL MEDIA IS WELCOME!
You can easily do this with Photography, but you can certainly WRITE about TWO similar subjects of Nature, draw/paint them traditionally, or digitally, as well as an animation might apply depending on the subject, and photomanips, too!
So have at it!

SEPTEMBER'S THEME: "MAMMALS IN ACTION!"
One Entry Per Member
Any animal, wild or domestic, which has fur and gives live birth (as opposed to laying eggs),
which is portrayed in ACTION!

FOR EXAMPLE: A domestic mammal which is portrayed as jumping, running, playing, rolling, hopping, ETC. ...
Do NOT submit birds or insects, as we had a theme earlier this year, about animals with wings.
Do NOT submit a portrait, which is generally, the opposite of an action shot.  What you submit MUST be focused ON the MAMMAL which is in ACTION... do NOT submit humans, cars, or buildings, for ANY reason, but especially as the main subject! Given the subject matter, it could be a bit understandable if such things are somewhere as very tiny part of the submission, but it should not distract away from the ACTION of the MAMMAL!
This theme caters very easily to a WIDE RANGE of Media, so ALL MEDIA IS WELCOME!
Of course photography would work, as well as WRITING about such a MAMMAL in ACTION, or drawing/painting one traditionally, digitally! Photomanips and animations are welcomed, too, so long as what is shared is a MAMMAL on the move!

So... show us some ACTION!

We usually have TWO HUGE Contest per year: the first one hosted in the Spring [NH]...
and the next one in the Autumn, WHICH IS COMING UP, pretty soon!!


We also try to host Monthly Themes, many months of the year, which we treat as Mini-Contests!

Our NEXT Mini-Contests for the rest of the year will be in these months:

I have a word to say for my best buddy. Actually probably a paragraph. Iceyspade is a HUGE inspiration to me. She was the one who showed me deviantART, and was with me the whole entire time. We both improved together, and helped one another when we were down in the dumps. But I don't know what to say, really. She has an amazingly versatile mind; the ideas she comes up with, the concepts that she sketches out, and just her all by herself.
