Footsteps... Large footsteps accompanied with the sounds of crushed grass... all approaching to an empty field ahead.
The south meeting grounds, which is also the field on a small hill about 1.5 kilometer from Skydia's bridge. The perfect place for Christoph Bastian to fire his Divine Armament's most powerful weapon.
"Sorry to kept you waiting," Reiji apologized, smiling inside Blackwargreymon as it enters the field. "I never expected you would play a good sportsman & just wait for me here," the black dragon halted his steps.
"It is a warrior's honor to duel without any tricks," Christoph, in his Lobomon, stands gallantly in the middle.
"Unfortunately for you, I'm no warrior..."
"I know that," he closed his eyes in a brief pause. "Shinnosuke Reiji... I heard of your name. You're once a tyrant-like delinquent in your past, provoking large-scale fights & injuring countless innocent citizens. Hence, you alias "Black Tyrant","
"My, my, I'm flattered,"
In a moment afterwards, the air is filled with hostility.
Both combatants readied themselves.
"Guess it's time..." Reiji.
"...For us..." Christoph.
"TO FIGHT!!!!" Both fighters kicked off the ground & rushed at each other.
Soon, the claw & spear clashed as a cloud of dust born from an explosion.

"DUUUAHHHHH!!!!"
"GRAAAAAHHHHH!!!"
Riza & Buster relentlessly attacks UlforceVeedramon. Fists & kicks,; knees & elbows. It's been about a minute now. Many blows were dealt but the Blue Knight didn't even flinched.
No, it's not that he didn't flinched. It's their fists... They didn't even made contact!! The two noticed this & backed away a few step back.
"Riza!!"
"Yeah, I know!!"
"Dear me, such reckless tactics. Have you even tried to figure out how my Tamer's Contract Spell works?"
"Heh. No need," Riza smiled confidently. The boy dashed forward. "Your Tamer's spell is something related to buffing you with a... FLAG!!" he swing his leg forward.
The attack halted again. It didn't made contact but Riza felt that it hit something.
"A clever observation!! But it's not the right ANSWER!!" With a swing of a hand, he repelled Riza back towards his partner.
"Guuaahh!!"
"Aibou!" Buster catches.
"My Tamer's Contract Spell is called Fahne Eid (Flag's Oath in German). By displaying his patriotism via flag-waving, I shall be granted the power to control my own aura, which means as long as my Tamer waves our country's flag, I shall have the power to solidify my own aura at will!!!" He punched the air.
Almost immediately, Riza felt a force crushing his stomach, launching him & his partner back.
"Aura cannot be seen unless it's from a powerful enemy. Therefore, you cannot see my attacks," he turned around, seeing the battle's end.
"ULFORCEVEEDRAMON!!!" Max yelled.
The sudden raised voice of this Tamer made the blue knight turned around in a sudden move. The sight before him shocked him. His eyes, which he thought would show two fallen brawlers, now show an angry Riza before him & very close.
"What the-"
"EAAAT THIS!!!!" A fist flied straight at his face.
"Guh!!" The fist was halted. "IMPRESSIVE!!" An uppercut strikes Riza's abs, sending him flying upwards.
Despite the enhanced strike, the small fighter managed to make a landing with his feet. The brawler then kneel on his knees, mourning over the pain & coughing.
"Now what is that?" UlforceVeedramon thought. "One moment he was lying about 11 meters from me & the next moment, he's in front of my face... Wait!! If he got up, then..." he turned his head.
A fist 'rewarded' his notice. It was Buster. The fist was barely blocked by his coat of aura.
"Hehe," Buster smiled. The Digimon leaped back, leaving the blue knight with questions.
"How could he-"
"What are you doing, UlforceVeedramon!?" Max Casper Rauch shouted. "We are not here to watch them fight!! We came to crush them!! In the name & light of His Holiness!!!" He lifts his giant flag high in the air. "And in the name of New Whistholia!!"
"Pfft... TAHAHAHAHAHA...." a laugh mocked the flag wielder. The kneeling boy then stands up again. "Sorry... I didn't care about your 'light' or your 'Holiness'. What I care now is only one thing & that is to beat you up & save Doru!!!" Riza pointed at the flag-wielder, as if to challenge his patience. "So stay there till we beat up your pal & after that you're NEXT!!!!!"
"Damn you," Max murmured. "Ulforce!!"
"Very well, then," he turned to the boy. "No holding back!!"
"No holding back, you say?" Riza's eyes became fiercer than a sabertooth's. His partner arrived at his side.
"We've just finished our WARMUP!!" the two kicked off the ground & dashed forward.
Their dash is enough to crack the concrete floor at its wake. Their speeds' monstrous; inhuman -literally.
However, so was UlforceVeedramon. His aura slowly became visible. It's blue... and it is now a sphere barrier of aura.
Within a second, the two were started their assault on UlforceVeedramon. Their speed is enough to make them disappear but their attacks can be seen. Dents... many dents appeared on barrier!! And they're increasing in a crazy rate. But the barrier's not broken yet. The dents were quickly repaired. It is made out of aura, after all.
"DDDDDRRRRUUUUAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!"
"GGGRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!"
The two from Skydia throws out their every arsenal!! Every punches, every kicks, every movement!!! They used it all!!
While the two from Abblitzspeer... the blue dragon knight spread his arms & pushed out all his strength for defense while his partner took a second flag the size of the first one -a big flag- & soon, began dance with the flags, enhancing the aura barrier.
The aggressive 'care' for someone versus the rare 'patriotism' that reached the skies. Both of the forces are great enough to summon strong wind to the battlefield, shocking the troops.
"Ooooh!!!" Shuu.
"They're crazy!!!" Noel.
"Crazily strong, to be precise," Ming Ling.
The two crazy forces are even. But soon...
"Sorry!! But since we're hurrying here..." Buster.
"WE'LL MAKE THIS QUICK!!" Riza.
"DORYAAAHHH!!!"
A force then shattered the barrier in a huge explosion. Clouds of dirt spread to the battlefield.
A figure flies out from the towering cloud & into the air.
"Are you okay?" Max shouted out to his partner.
"I'm... hah... hah... fine," he said, breathing heavily. "Those two... just what are they,"
Soon, his survival instincts screams.
"Ggh!!!" he barely dodged. The aura that coats him was used to enhanced his wings. Hence, a faster speed.
*THUM!!!*
A figure crashed to the ground. It attempted to stomped UlforceVeedramon. And in the end, it stomped the ground, breaking the concrete. It's the blue dragon brawler from Skydia. Riza soon moved to his side.
"Tired?" Riza insults. Though he & his partner is almost the same condition. "Hehehe. Still can't figure out why your getting beaten up?"
"Y-Your Contract Spell!!! But this kind of Contract Spell is!!?"
"Not really something godly," Buster smiled. "Riza's, no, Our Contract Spell, The Brotherhood, is a spell which increases a specific stats of someone when his partner strikes an enemy,"
"In other words, every time I landed a hit on you, Buster's speed increased,"
"And when I landed a hit on you, my aibou's speed increased!!"
"GAH!!??"
"Wha... HAH!!!"
Abblitzspeer's Speer und Fahne then came to realization. The numbers of times they have landed a hit on him... the reason why Riza suddenly appeared in front of UlforceVeedramon... it all made senses now!! Their Contract Spell is the cause!! Every time they struck him, it made them stronger & even if they didn't touched him directly, his aura is also an essence of himself, which means...
"... We've have picked the wrong tactic from the beginning!!" Max.
"... This type of enemy should be finished quickly... A delayed battle with defenses as main will only lead us to-"
The two disappeared. Seeing this, the blue knight's instincts shrieks.
"MAX!!!"
His Tamer quickly swings his flag in a fury. But as soon as he started to raises one flag...
*P-weeuun*
A bullet's sound sent the flag flying. It's origin is from the skies. On a Jet Broom...
"Go for it, Riza, Buster!!!" Jun shouted.
"AH!!!" the voices of the two came from UlforceVeedramon's left.
They're approaching!! Flying towards them like a rocket. A deadly missile. A deadly missile that flies in the speed of lightning.
"MAX CASPER RAUCH!!!!"
In response to the cry, Max swing his remaining flag forward, re-initiating his Contract Spell.
Very soon, UlforceVeedramon was coated with aura.
"TENSEGRITY SHIELD!!!" a green barrier is formed.
Mixed with his aura, the blue knight Digimon blocked the destructive fists from 'missile', sending flying a few meters back.
"You have been a formidable opponent, 1st Special Duty of Skydia, RYUZAKI RIZAAA & OMEGAVEEDRAMOOON!!!" his aura then glowed in a bright light.
"I thought We've already told you... WE'RE IN A HURRY HERE!!!" Riza roars as the two flies towards the blue Digimon.
"Verstärkte Aura... ULFORCE SABER!!!!" he slashed forward.
The beam saber's size is of Nordstern itself. It aimed for Riza & Buster's neck.
But at the very, very last moment... when the beam almost burned their skin... they disappeared.
*BANG!!!!*
With the accumulated speed they have gained & strength they have combined... they've struck UlforceVeedramon.
Buster on the stomach & Riza at the face.
The battle's over.
Phew... this almost took my heart...
