OH MY GOD GUYS I AM ALIVEEEEE~ Finally stopped procrastinating and edited this shoot (this was shot late last year omg)! So expect more Kenshin shots to come! *A*b

Like many other people Rurouni Kenshin was one of the first series I read when I got into anime/manga, so it really holds a special place in my heart and Kenshin himself is one of my favourite all time characters.
Despite my love for him and the simplicity of the costume, it still took over a year for me to put my foot down and decide 'YES, GODDAMMIT I KNOW I DON'T SUIT BUT I WILL COSPLAY YOU OMG ;A;'

To me, Kenshin (especially his Battosai version) is a very complex and deeply emotional character, not to mention I lacked his angry expression, pointed chin, and I am way to tall and omg I can write an essay on how much I don't suit him Especially since when I finally made the costume, the live-action Kenshin movie was finally released in Australia and suddenly there was many other much more suited people cosplaying Kenshin so I opted to hide my Kenshin forever 8'DDDb (maybe that's why it took me so long to edit these photos /weep;; ). He's just one of those characters that you love so much that you don't want to fail ;3;

But unexpectedly, in the end against what my brain was screaming, I ignored all that and decided to cosplay him anyway, and I had one of the most fun shoots I ever did!!

~ShinoMatrix and Mina were such patient sports and put up with all of my yelling and all the sticky fake blood and being outside for so long in the hot weather. Thank you both so much really ;3;

I really hope to do more characters from this series in the future, and do more versions of Kenshin himself!! (Snow shoot with a Tomoe is still my dream shoot gehhhh) My love for Rurouni Kenshin has no end~
