Fionna and Finn - Adventure Time

All other images/character/backgrounds upon this art here, were created by me, except the Bubble Kingdom Castle... it was just too tedious to make so I just plopped it on there for effect. Also, yes that is my other Adventure Time characters I created before hand over in the corner by the castle. There is currently: Lumpy Space Princess, Princess Bubblegum and Peppermint Butler.



Well as I said above, I dont own any of the characters from Adventure Time, BUT this is my rendition of what they would look like if they were more human-esqe and older. I wanted to do a couple type pic, but I wasnt sure who I was going to put with Finn, and figured it might be wierd to put Fionna there (since they are from a parallel genderbend universe), I just said what the hell and went with it. Im glad I did because I love how both of them turned out. Oddly, they were quite hard to shade.. I mean Im not good at it in general, but since this is based off of the cartoon, there is no actual shading involved on the characters really.

This pic took me forever to do! Of course I started it AGES ago, and never finished it then finally did, and what took the most time was the background... there is actually 15 different individual layers involved with it... (btw, because it was started a long time ago, it was before Flame Princess joined the show, thats why Fionna was used and I had already done one of PB so yea.)

I wanted to be as accurate as I could to the original design and look/feel of the show, thats why some parts of the background are done with nice, fluid lines while some others are all wobbly and hand drawn... cause they were. Of course if I did draw them with my hand they wouldnt have come out as bad but I dont have a tablet so I do it all with my mouse... forgive me.

I used all the swords that have been used in the series (well so far as it was when I started this pic originally), and it was to show that "a hero is pure and true, through and through, no matter what weapon they use". Anywho, moving on... yes there are other AT fanarts in the works....
