Crusade Against The Machine

This originally was going to be a hypothetical look at the possible downside of the cutie mark system, but then I realized something. Why do that when I could instead make a very poignant commentary on the dangers of using crazy powers beyond the abilities of mere mortals? So there it is. The moral of the story is to be responsible when using magic.

And now let me gush about how pleased I am over this. Look at all the things I added! Shadows! Shading! Cool backgrounds! Lasers! Fire! Okay, I cheated on not shading everything and reusing the bg from the previous comic, but hey, baby steps. The day where everything is as good as panels 11 and 13 is not too far off in the future, I can sense it. 20 years min, I wager. That's not too long to wait for a little quality, is it?
