Hello! I'm doing very well thank you.

My name's Jim. As you can probably see, I'm Farand on dA. I help to moderate the chat and forum networks. When I'm not doing that, I'm usually chatting away in one channel or another, posting silly threads in the Deviants forum, or looking for fan-art of Macaulay Culkin.

I like all media, but I'm especially fond of photojournalism and traditional. And just lately I've been getting quite heavily into sci-fi art; I have Shue13 and his quite frankly incredible gallery to thank for that. As for what I do - I write a little now and then, and I used to take photos.

I was burgled in late October of last year, and one of the things taken was - my camera! It took me ages to save for that, too! Luckily they caught the guy who did it, though I never got my camera back.

I've been on dA for about six and three-quarter years (how's that for precise?) - I joined 30 January 2007. I decided to join after PurpleRoseFairy told me about a great website she had been a member of for a year. Unfortunately she's no longer around on dA, but I stuck around.

It feels a bit like a dream, really. I applied to be a chats and forums CV, and to my astonishment I was invited to join the team. I keep thinking they're going to take away my hat any day now. I've been a part of the team for two weeks tomorrow, and it's been wonderful so far; the CVs really support one another and work so hard to make dA enjoyable for everyone, and straightaway they made me feel like I'd been a member of the team for a long time!

I'm part of the InternationalFAQ team, a team made up of hard-working people who are translating the faq from English because they believe that all deviants are entitled to receive help in their own language. And, er... I've been known to feature Hello Kitty-themed deviations in the past.

Naturally, I look up to Macaulay Culkin. The day he joins dA, my life will be complete. I have plenty of idols on dA, but for the sake of brevity I suppose I'd better limit myself to mentioning just a few. There are the InternationalFAQ admins: Daghrgenzeen, pwassonne, BitterBeanJuicer and of course, your good self, Tahog. They are all so friendly, so intelligent, so helpful, that I can't help but be a little in love with all of them. Then there are the CVs - far too many to mention! littlefishey is probably my all-time favourite deviant: she rocks. And I can't possibly omit moonbeam13, who I've known for only a short while, but who I can tell is already awesome.
