This was a request from my best friend, who has suffered through many hardships but is still moving on.

Here's something straight from her:
Watch my face as pretend to feel no pain.
They've pushed me to the end, and I've realized that hurting myself is easier than letting others hurt me.
And if you see me for who I truly am; the monster I've become, run your fingers through my soul. For once, just once, feel exactly what I feel, believe what believe, perceive as I perceive. Look, experience, imagine, and for once, just once, understand.
Save me from myself.
