Young Justice: Miss Martian IV

➡ INTERESTED IN PROGRESS PICTURES, COSTUME PLANS AND COSPLAY SNAPSHOTS? I'M ON FACEBOOK TOO!!!

I know many of my watchers here on deviantArt follow me for my DC comics or general comic costumes and I'm very sorry I hardy upload anything comic related anymore. Lately I'm more interested in creating costumes of TV-shows like Game of Thrones, anime or manga. I don't want to say that I will never make a new comic costume ever again, but DC's way of treating series and characters I love broke my heart too many times and I feel that I have to move on for now...

Under these circumstances why did I put on my Miss Martian costume once again?
Well, there are various reasons. First of all I put it on for LieChee who was looking for a model to practise taking pictures of. Since she is an incredibly talented person (when it comes to both cosplay and photography) I gratefully accepted. Besides that I am finally starting to sell older costumes of mine. I gratuated from university a few weeks ago and will have to move soon. Since taking about 70 costumes with me to a tiny-ish flat is absolutely impossible, I'm starting to take better pictures of them and to give them away piece by piece.There will be two costumes for sale starting by Monday. I don't think I mentioned it in any of my blog entries on deviantArt before, but I started going to the gym in March. I have been working out 3-5 times a week since then and I feel great. I am not going to the gym to lose weight and I am not dieting. One of my New Year's Resolutions was to live a healthier life and to regain a certain level of fitness. I'm really happy and proud of myself I managed to stick to my plans. I feel much better in my own skin now and - consequently - I feel better in my old Stealth Suit as well!

I'm currently working on various costumes which I'll debute at conventions in October. Next events I'm going to attend are the bookfair in Frankfurt, Ring*Con in Bonn and MCM Expo London Comic Con in the UK. Will you be there was well?
