Dusk on fire

For my graphic design class we had to do a photomanip. There were two instrumental songs to choose from, one was called Dusk and the other was called Undertow. Our band is going to be performing the two at their next concert and our illustrations are going to be presented in a slideshow during the performance. This is the one I chose to do for dusk. It was a calm feeling song and was fairly soft and flowy and that feeling you get when you feel all calm at, well, dusk. However, being the weirdo that I am, I had to set dusk on fire. This is actually two photos only, one is a picture my teacher actually took and had us manipulate to learn some of the doodads that you can do in photoshop. I played with the colors and made it blood red all over. The other photo is thus: fav.me/d5w96qn and I got permission to use (you'll probably see it in the comments there). I saw her photo and thought it would go perfect with the other one that I had previously edited.

What I did to edit it: I edited out the person in her photo. I edited a small bit of a person from the other one, and faded it almost 100% so that it blended well together. Between the two layers, I have a small but of brush work to blend them better, but it was just transparent color.

Not too shabby for my second photoshop work ever! The first I also wish to post here, but I need permission from the owners of the photos first. I have 1 down and two to go, but then you all get to see it^^
