Amazonos Ch. 27: GoodbyeAn hour after the assembly, Amazonia finds herself with Arsenios and his mate Ismene who had come to comfort her. “This will not be easy as I hoped.” She said somewhat dejectedly.
“It is difficult to lead those who would rather not.” Arsenios replies. “They have seen a lot of death and destruction, and their leaders have fallen before their eyes.”
Amazonia looks to the pair, somewhat wary of what the future will bring. “I don’t think I am up to being their leader.”
Ismene looks to her with a pleasant smile. “I disagree; if it wasn’t for you, I would have never seen Arsenios again. You restored his faith, as assuredly that you will restore your sisters’ faith.”
Just then, she noticed two Amazons approaching from Amazonia’s rear. She goes silent and looks beyond Amazonia, who has just realized someone is approaching. She turns to see Archillea and Maia, who seemed in a pleasant mood. “Is all well?

Amazonos Ch. 29: The ChoiceThe group traveled for a full day, arriving in Laconia by mid-afternoon. The group of Centaurs sent in advance had prepared for the 600 Centaurs and Amazons and greeted them with a warm welcome and a feast in their honor.
