"About six years ago I started with digital photography and soon I found my newest passion in life, a form of long-exposure/night photography called Light Painting. For me 'Light Painting' is the ultimate photography technique with endless creative possibilities and I cant get enough of it. I am always interested in and searching for different/dark/strange/odd and non-mainstream things in life, so for me, this type of photography is a great way of expressing my creative visual side. Some people explain Light Painting night photography as "light is the paint, night is the canvas." You actively paint the light in a dark location, so you have full control of the light in a photo and you can use different light sources to light the location in a creative way."

"In the last two years, some flashlight companies like LED Lenser, Fenix, and Nitecore gave me the opportunity to use/test their flashlights in making light paintings/night photos and showing the world what is possible with these high-tech flashlights in a way most people never would have thought possible with 'just a flashlight.' This type of sponsor work is a great way for me to test new lights and to find creative ways of using those lights, besides feeding my "light-junkie" addiction. All I can say is that everyone should experiment at least once with Light Painting and enjoy the magic of this great photography technique, but beware, it can be highly addictive!" ;)
