General is a all around Chevalier with tremendous working ability. He's been named Western Trail Division Champion by the 2012 Work Horse Trials and came in second place in Western Pleasure in the very same show.

The downside to a big horse was the long legs and even longer stride.

After Halter, Tat and General stood by to compete in the next class, which was Showmanship. She did some last minute touch ups, William being her mule as he both brought things to her from the stalls. She didn't have a whole lot of time to mess around, but she did make sure her stud looked like he hadn't just gone out there and he was still shiny and new. The judges were sure to appreciate her work and dedication but part of it was for her own self indulgence on keeping something in order.

When the next class was called, they did as they were supposed to and Tat cursed her short height because she had to really run to keep up with General's trot. the stallion puffed slightly as she did what she had to do, watching her out of curiosity and natural concern. They were a bonded pair, so seeing her winded made him slow if only a little and allow her to keep up without trying so hard.

Even so, once the event was over she had to sit down for a moment and catch her breath.
