 Often emotionless and stoic, especially with people he doesn't know very well
 To people he's familiar with, he's only slightly more outgoing (thin smiles, small laughs, and the like)
 He's very cautious around those who attempt to befriend him (he has trust issues due to his past)
 He's polite, though his tone is often casual; hardly uses contractions
 The only exception to his "usual" personality is when people get him his favorite food(s) or give him puzzle-games to work on
He's only clingy to others if he's drunk = w =
Though he has a high tolerance for other people's shenanigans, it's only fun to prank or mess with him on some occasions. But angering him for long periods of time would just blatantly piss him off, and he may bare a grudge against the person, depending on what they did to annoy him

Other Strengths:
-- Apathy. It’s actually very difficult for him to open up to and trust people (especially if they had treated him badly in the past). He hardly shows emotion unless he’s severely injured, has one of his weaknesses found out, or when with close friends.
-- Obedience. Once he warms up to someone enough (or if they are his assigned superior) he’s extremely loyal to them in most circumstances.
-- Conformity. He’s able to assimilate into a foreign crowd fairly easily. When moving to a new location, in a matter of weeks (sometimes days), he’s able to speak and act as the indigenous people of that town do (as if he’d been a local all his life there). This makes him suitable for assignments involving
-- Independence. What he lacks in physical strength and communication, he makes up in intelligence and agility. Though these traits often force him to act on his own, without alerting others, which is obviously severely unfortunate in vital situations.

[W E A K N E S S E S]
-- Lack of Charisma. Though he resorts to fighting and weaponry as his “last resort,” he’s extremely bad at communicating with others for persuasive purposes and usually ends up having to fight anyway. When he doesn’t understand something, he tends to not ask for help since he doesn’t want to seem stupid
-- Solitude. Prefers to work alone (since he’s really bad at communicating with others). Usually acts as the “lone wolf,” ironically. Though he thinks he’s keeping others out of danger, he ends up putting more people at risk because of his unpredictable actions
-- Sensitivity. Ever since witnessing the tremors caused by the unexploded bomb in Megatown, Haruen’s been especially nervous during earthquakes ever since. Ironically, he’d moved to The Divide, where earthquakes are frequent occurrences. Though he’s been trying to adjust to the semi-severe tremors, he still freaks out when an earthquake happens suddenly. (At these times, he grabs onto the most solid object closest to him and may even curl up into a ball in fright)
-- Forgetfulness. Although he does not suffer from short-term memory loss, his work and often busy schedules often have him forgetting small details here and there (things like birthdays and items on a to-do list) Even so, he can surprisingly match names with faces pretty well
-- Unforgiving. Strangely enough, Haruen is able to forget very basic things on an occasional basis, but is able to remember bad memories and can recall rude people’s actions or words almost immediately upon recognizing them. He’s one to bare grudges, so it’s wise not to get on his bad side. (Though he’s fairly forgiving when it comes to pranks or surprises)

Sunglasses: Though it seems Haruen mainly uses his shades to hide his strange dual-colored eyes, they actually serve another purpose. Upon putting them on, he’s able to detect the heat signatures of all those around him like this.  By using them, he can tell if people are lying (if they’re talking to him) or if they’re acting suspiciously. They also allow him to access the additional perk 'Four-Eyes'
Switch-blade Gun (2): Haruen is unable to dually wield weapons, due to the unsteadiness of his hands during a sudden battle or an ambush. He only keeps another gun as “back-up” if he drops it during the fight. This custom-made weapon was a present from his weapon-forging uncle, in which the firearm acts as a normal gun that shoots bullets (10 rounds). However, if the bullets were to run out at a bad time or the adversary were to get too close, two switch-blades could be protruded with the gun itself as the handle. This blades could also be used for everyday usage (when the gun-and-trigger part was switched off).

Level Two Perk: Friend of the Night


[H I S T O R Y]
Born in the icy months of January in pre-Megatown (before the bombs were released upon the people of the Wasteland), Haddrien was raised by a loving father who was hardly home (since he was a cargo delivery pilot) and a kind mother (a merchant selling fruits and flowers) who he helped to sell such goods. When his little sister, Inmiri, was born when he was 6, his mother got a uterus infection, his aunt (who was an herbalist) and his uncle (a weapons blacksmith) were mainly in charge of taking care of them. His father eventually dies in an aircraft accident, possibly related to the Elites and his mother succumbs to her infection when Haddrien was 11, and Inmiri was 5. Because his sibling was so young, Haddrien had always felt a sense of protectiveness towards her, and would guard her from the world’s dangers by making her laugh.
During the times of their childish happiness, Inmiri would braid Haddrien’s hair when he was too lazy to cut it. The two would also play with fake wooden guns made by their uncle, and were taught the basics of different types of plants (which ones were poisonous and which ones were beneficial). When the two were learning how to cook and sew by their aunt, they made little stuffed dolls and charms for eachother (of, coincidentally, cats and rabbits).
The bomb came down Haddrien was only 12. Though the bomb that fell in Megatown didn’t go off, the earth had violently shook like an earthquake and strong amounts of radiation still emitted from the area around it. These chemicals turned Haddrien into a cat (his dark hair and eyes also paled as the radiation infected him), Inmiri into an white-indigo rabbit, and his Aunt into a reindeer (his uncle was on a trip at this time, they still haven’t heard from him; it’s likely he died though because of the multiple bombings). For many months afterwards, he and his sister accompanied his aunt to nearby towns as travelling medics, treating those who severely and/or fatally injured by the series of bombings. After two years, when Haddrien was 14, it turned out that his right eye was becoming increasingly deformed due to radiation. Soon, it got infected with radioactive bacteria and he either had to get it removed and replaced, or keep it and risk for the infection to spread, as his mother’s had. Eventually, without his consent, Inmiri donated her eye for him, leaving her to be half-blind for the rest of her life. Upon awakening from the operation (not done by his aunt, but by an experienced surgeon), he couldn’t see clearly for weeks since his sight hadn’t adjusted to the new eye yet. He had to suffer frequent headaches and sat through bed-ridden achingly slow months through treatment, only to find that his aunt and Inmiri had left him behind to continue their lifestyle as travelling doctors.
A year later, only Inmiri returns to the clinic in which Haddrien’s bed-ridden to tell him that their aging aunt had taken her away to teach her to be a stationary doctor, which she completely rejected because her dream was to be an adventurer. The next day, Inmiri had left Haddrien with a note saying that she was dead and a small rabbit charm (crudely made to look like her) to remember her by. He still isn’t sure to this day if that time when Inmiri returned to him was a dream.
Upon release from the poor, run-down clinic, Haddrien changed his name to Haruen, a nickname that Inmiri had always called him by since she could not pronounce his full name at a young age. The next year he spent searching for his aunt, to get the story from her. He finds that she joined the Ruminant Deer faction as a medic in a group of violent but closely linked raiders, but she has her own small greenhouse for her herbs and medicinal tools in Springvale. When he attempted to visit her, at first, he was continually rejected by other members of her group since he was a cat and didn’t belong in their cliché. Even so, he still makes occasional visits to her shop to this day in secret and has forgiven her for abandoning him. At 18, he moved to the Divide, joined the Scarlet Cats, and has been a scavenger under them ever since.

Doesn’t believe in karma (thought it sometimes obviously affects him)
Not very fond of gasmasks, but will wear one when required (since he’s already seen some of the consequences/dangers of direct contact with radiation…)
The straps that come off his belt-loops connect to loops on his pockets on the back of his pants to keep them closed (it prevents being pick-pocketed easily)
When he’s nervous or agitated, his tail has a tendency to curl around his leg. When he’s annoyed and irritated, it bristles when he talks (often through his teeth at these times). When scared or depressed, it curls up. At any other time, it just sways
His ears flicker when he smells something really good, and they flatten to the sides when he's tired
He loooves sweaters and jackets, and is often color-coordinated (tries to be fashionable)
: Unlike most felines, he has no fear or intolerance of water
His middle name, Ruadhan, means “little one with red hair”
Close friends can call him Ruu / Rue  (*’//v//‘*)
