CHARACTER PROFILE
Name: Lune
Species: Most Likely Human
Gender: Most Likely Male
Age: N/A
Height: 2 feet
Weight: 78 pounds
Occupation: Executioner
Quote:
"Everybody commits crimes. Those who commit crimes are sinners, and sinners must be punished."

EDIT:Lune no longer has a hood in the back of his cloak. Also, his hairline is now constant. Please refer to the comics for reference. Thank you.

APPEARANCE:
Lune is a short, childish-looking boy. He has pupil-less golden eyes, and brilliant white teeth. His hair is a pitch black, some may even describe it as a void.
He covers his small body with a deep purple cloak, in which he rarely takes off. Under the coat is a tattered grey shirt and beige shorts. He wears bright blue pointed shoes, and a silver bell hangs from his neck.
He smiles often. So much to where the only times he's not is when he is sleeping or extremely depressed. His smile is not a cheery one, however, but it is more of a devilish smile, like he's plotting something. His eyebrows are always in an arched position, like he is constantly pondering something.
He walks in a unbalanced, swaying motion, as if he was drunk, in which he isn't.

PERSONALITY:
Lune is cool, calm, and collected, and is rarely fazed by threats or surprises. He always talks in a sarcastic tone, even when looking death in the eye.
Lune is a quick-thinking, boy-genius. He has a strong sense of law, although many would disagree with his ways of atonement. His creepy looks and sarcastic personality constantly ticks people off, and often rubs them the wrong way. This gives him a horrible public image, which leads to him receiving the blame for a lot of things.
No one trusts Lune, and in return, he trusts nobody except for two people. And one of those people is his deceased mother.
Although it may not look it, deep down, Lune does indeed have a heart. He feels emotions as well, it's just that he has a perfect poker face. Lune cares deeply for the ones close to him. Unfortunately, he only registers 3 people as 'close'.

HISTORY:
Lune lives on Spectrum, a planet three galaxies away from Earth. Spectrum is a planet brimming with magic, and the residents of Spectrum have learned to harness and utilize this magic power. The year is 3052.

Believe it or not, Lune was once a happy-go-lucky child. He did well in academics, and all his teachers had high expectations on him. Unfortunately, those expectations led to his undoing.
During the choosing of the executioners, Lune was one of the three chosen. The added pressure of having duties as a world executioner crushed Lune's mind, and he went mad. Literally. The first among his victims was his father, someone who constantly pressured him with deadlines and lofty goals. Lune was finally contained after three months of his killing spree. The last of his victims was his mother, to which he realized what he had done. However, he took it in a inhumane matter, and laughed it off.
Lune was then thrown in jail. Afraid of him going mad once again, even asylums wouldn't take the chance to try and heal his state of mind. Only one person visits him at jail, and that person is the only person who has kept Lune from going on death row.
Lune still retains his title as executioner, and if the situation is dire enough, is called out to help, but then is immediately put back in custody.

ABILITIES AND WEAKNESSES:
Lune keeps an executioner's book with him at all times. The executioner's book is a bright magenta hard-cover book with a small moon symbol at the corner and two silver bindings keeping the pages together. When read by someone else, the pages are blank.
Lune's executioner skill is shadow tag. Under special conditions, he can create identical shadow clones of other people, and may summon them whenever he wishes. These conditions include:

-The target must be angered.
-The target must have the will the fight Lune.
-Lune must be able to identify the target's gender.

When copied, a silhouette of the target will be recorded into his book. His book has a max capacity of 16 clones, and Lune may erase any clone as he wishes.
Lune's target can be of any species. It can even be non-living, but it must have emotions and must want to attack Lune. Lune's clones are like soulless copies of their originals. They do not talk, and Lune controls them through telepathy. The clones have the exact same skills and weaknesses as the originals.
The only ways to defeat the clones are to use another executioners power (there are only two others) or the exploits the clones weaknesses, considering it has the same weaknesses as its original.
Copying and summoning shadow clones requires an executioners energy. Executioners have a unique life force that corresponds to their unique power. Lune's life force can be replenished by the following things:

-Sleeping
-Eating (although he can do perfectly well without eating for more than a month)
-Absorbing shadow clones.

Absorbing shadow clones provides the most amount of life force. However, when Lune absorbs a shadow clone, he may never use it again, and can never recreate the same shadow clone again. It rarely happens, but sometimes absorbing a shadow clone will give Lune the abilities and weaknesses of that clone for a short period of time.
When out of life force, Lune becomes tired and worn out. His stamina and physical health become extremely low, and a even simple punch to the stomach could kill him. Therefore, he uses his life force cautiously by strategically preserving his clones and using other tactics to render his opponents helpless.
Other than shadow clones, Lune's second weapon as executioner is his eyes. If one were to stare straight into his eyes, one would slowly become enraged. His sarcastic tone also helps to add to the irritation. This all leads his opponents becoming blinded by fury, which allows him to create shadow clones from them. Only two people have been known to resist his stares, one of which is his dead mother.
Contrary to popular belief, Lune is actually very much, sane. Psychology-related attacks have no effect on him, and he can usually see through one's lies, a much-needed ability for a seasoned executioner. He's smart, resourceful, and has a vast vocabulary. Letting him know your weakness is the last thing you want to do.
However, keeping quiet about your weaknesses probably won't do much. In his younger days, Lune studied Psychology as one of his subjects. He almost completely size up an opponent in a glance, and can read peoples emotions by their facial expressions and movements.

Lune is short, and therefore slow and weak. Being heavily inexperienced in hand-to-hand combat, he relies on attacking the minds of his opponents, whether throwing them into confusion or a blind rage. He intimidates others with his perplexing stare and unwavering personality. Fear is almost unknown to him.

Lune's most vulnerable state is when he is asleep. He is required to sleep for a minimum of 10 hours a day in order to regenerate his life force completely. However, he is a light sleeper.
His second most vulnerable state is when he does go insane. His 'insanity' is triggered by the smell or sight of large amounts of blood. Especially if it is his. He become obsessed with killing, and will not hesitate to brutally murder someone, even if it is an innocent bystander. When insane, his smile grows wider, and his eyes grow smaller and gain pupils (as shown in the top-right hand corner).
Unfortunately, he spends large quantities of his life force at an alarming rate during this state. Therefore, he wears a silver bell around his neck. The bell emits a calming sound when rung, and prevents Lune from going crazy. It also has a little bit of emergency life force stored within. Removing or breaking the bell can result in disastrous results for both Lune and his opponent.

All in all, Lune main weapon of choice is his opponent's emotions. Physically incapable to fight most enemies head on, he uses instead uses their fears and dislikes to his advantage. His personality and behavior allow him to make horrible first impressions, which often has people pinning him as an irritating brat of some sort. This always helps his case.

"But Excab! Who's this other person besides his mother that you keep talking about?"
Well you'll just have to wait and see!
