Reincarnation Chapter 2

It seemed like a split second, until the she-hedgehog finally realized what she was doing, and noticed her target had vanished. She tumbled forward, and quickly regained her balance. Then a slight little wisp of air flew by her ear, causing her ear to turn back, and whipped around to see her target again. Five feet away this time, it stood there. A hedgehog, black as night, with crimson red markings highlighting his eyes, as well as his quills, streaking up his arms and legs only to vanish at the connection of the gloves. She shivered, looking into the eyes of the hedgehog. Crimson red, and saw hatred. As though he were reading her expression, he blinked, and there was a frown on his face. 'Why did you try to attack me?' It spoke. She couldn't tell whether he was mad, confused, or even the slightest concerned, for there was no feeling in his words. '....' the she-hedgehog stayed silent not knowing whether to run for her life or try to attack again. 'I know you are scared. I could tell by your actions. You've been through so much already.' The she-hedgehog was stunned, she heard a sympathetic tone in his voice. Was he truly sorry for her? It could be possible... Then again, it could be a trap to trick her into going back. That wasn't going to happen anytime soon. The She-hedgehog backed away only two steps feeling the urge to run, but knew she shouldn't, she could tell the black hedgehog was fast, she was no match for him if she tried to escape. She stood there as though waiting for him to try and capture her and take her back to Dr. Eggman. The black and crimson hedgehog took notice and felt offended, and showed this by narrowing his eyes at her which caused the little she-hedgehog to flinch and whimper slightly, he had a surprised look on his face. The doctor must have really frightened her... Why would he do that to a little hedgehog? He was sorry for scaring her even more than she was already, and tried to look more calm and friendly. This wasn't the hedgehog's best ability, for he was made to destroy, ever since his friend, Maria Robotnik, was killed. He could see the little hedgehog was confused, scared and ready to run if he were to move towards her, so he stood there. 'I... Can't trust anyone here.....' the she-hedgehog finally spoke after a long pause, which surprised the black and crimson hedgehog. 'I don't know where I even am... an-' she gasped in pain, and clenched her left arm tightly, where Dr. Eggman had injected the chemicals, and she felt a surging pain go through her entire body, causing her to whimper and cry. She started to feel weak, and soon didn't have the strength to stand up, and collapsed, she lay motionless, but the pain was still shown on her face. The black hedgehog had a nervous and shocked expression. What did the doctor do to this she-hedgehog? She must be in a whole world of pain....I must take her to G.U.N. They will help her there.... hopefully... The black and crimson hedgehog quickly walked to her side, he checked for any pulse, and heard her heart still beating, and noticed her breathing was very shallow. He knew he could get her to G.U.N if he teleported themselves there. He picked up the little hedgehog, and carried her. Once he had her secure in his arms, he went for his chaos emerald. 'Chaos Control!' and soon were teleported.

 During this time, with Dr. Eggman...

  Dr. Eggman, was looking through the rummage of what used to be his little experimenting and containment room. Ever since he injected the substance into the little she-hedgehog, he was sorry, but now that feeling was gone, and replaced with rage, when the black and crimson red hedgehog, came in and destroyed everything. 'Grrr, that hedgehog ruined everything! Now, I will not know what those chemicals do, and how I can stop it! ' He was now furious, and kicked pieces of now scrap metal. Only for Orbot and Cubot to skid into the room Dr. Eggman was in. 'Dr. It seems we have been defeated once again. Not surprising, seeing this always happens?' Dr. Eggman had enough of Orbot's smart remarks, and kicked him forcefully into a wall, only to see a back up regenerator, and grinned. 'Well, it seems you finally proven your worth!' He walked cautiously around the busted up scrap metal, and reached the lever, and soon had it programed to regenerate the power supply. Cubot was following shortly behind the Dr. and was accidentally kicked into a room, soon calling Dr. Eggman shortly after his discovery. Dr. Eggman walked cautiously into the room, and noticed that this room had a small container with descriptions and an antidotes to serums with it as well. Dr. Eggman read the whole description about the chemicals and soon realized that the serum he had injected into the she-hedgehog, was a serum forbidden long ago, for it was upsetting the balance of nature, and the animals surrounding it. Though it seems harmless, it contains a rare chemical that maneuvers its way into the blood stream and fuses with the DNA , allowing it to combine into anything, but only the one who has infused it into the subject/object, can give the ability/power to it. There is a price to it though, the subject/object's appearance changes slightly, depending on how the subject/object reacts, determines the change in appearance. 'Well, this is an interesting find! You finally are being of use to me, Cubot!' The Dr. grinned with satisfaction at Cubot, and let out an evil laugh, which was interrupted by violent coughing and hacking, but was quickly resumed afterwards. 'Well, now. Lets give that little hedgehog a little 'sorry' gift. Best not keep her waiting!' He quickly went to his computer, and finally gave it the information as to what he specifically wanted to give the little hedgehog. He gave an mischievous grin as he typed: Sonic Speed, Time travel, Camouflage, Teleportation, Shape shifting, Ability to foresee what happens next, and gave her a secret ability that only eggman knows, Her vision. 'Now, whatever she see's, I'll see as well! There is no escaping me now OHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO-' Now he was choking and violent coughing & hacking soon came afterwards.

Back with the two hedgehogs....

Already at the door of G.U.N, The black and crimson hedgehog used his ID to be scanned and allow entrance into the military base. Now hurriedly heading to their little healing room, he had passed by his fellow agent team mate, a white bat wearing a black suit, with a hot pink heart outlined by white. With matching white boots and gloves that stretched just below her shoulder to her hand. She seemed surprised to see a small, motionless she-hedgehog, who seemed to look like a kid, and quickly followed him. 'Shadow! Who is that? What happened to her!?' The bat kept on asking Shadow, who was completely ignoring her all the way to their pharmacy. Shadow had finally reached the pharmacy, and ordered the doctors and scientists to quickly scan her for any wounds or side affects. They were stunned and were about to argue until they saw the bundle of fur, in his hands and noticed it was a small hedgehog. They quickly took her off Shadow's hands, and put her in a healing capsule, where they healed her and now looking on their screen, they noticed the serum in her blood stream, and saw what was happening in her. 'Her name is, Elisa, I believe and It seems that there is a serum that has completely took hold of her entire blood stream.' One of the doctors replied after a while, 'Yeah, we may not be able to get it out of her without draining her blood out!' Exclaimed another. 'Well, we have to try and see what we can do about this. Though....This case seems awfully familiar to me... We'll have to see what is going on with h-' He was cut off by another, 'Look! Her appearance is changing!' The doctors hurriedly rushed over to the capsule and noticed her appearance had indeed changed. The scanning screen soon flashed red, which startled the scientist, hurriedly they walked over and taken notice that her stats had changed as well.  They quickly took notes on her change of fur and stats, they were fascinated yet even more frightened. 'How long has she been injected with that serum?' Asked one. 'I don't know, Agent Shadow will know surely, for he found her.' 'But he'll get suspicious about this, and start to threaten us!' 'Then this will have to be our secret then... Until we find out what is happening, this little hedgehog will remain in here.' All the scientists agreed, and quickly left her capsule. Finally leaving their studies to a stop, they kept her in the capsule. 'Thank you, Agent Shadow, for bringing her to our attention. She is in good hands, now you may go.' Shadow knew that his excuse to leave was a direct order, Shadow nodded farewell and walked off, leaving the bat who looked at the doctors and scientists. 'Something is happening to that little kid, isn't there?' she asked them. 'This isn't any of your concern, Agent Rouge. Now go, leave this to us.' Rouge had a sinking feeling that they were hiding something, but let her charms work their magic. 'Well, I'll be heading my way then.' She turned around and waved bye to them. Until night falls, everyone will be asleep, maybe then I can sneak in and see what is happening to that poor kid. I better not let anyone know. She walked off into her assigned room that G.U.N gave her.

    Nightfall came, and Rouge found a air vent when she had recently walked to her room. She opened it carefully and snuck inside, closing it quietly. She quietly crawled through the vent, and finally was above the room, and saw the capsule. Rouge opened the air vent and made her way inside the room. She landed quietly and neatly beside the capsule. Only to see it could be opened by a secret combination. She grinned, with a mocking look in her eyes. 'This just gets easier and easier...' she typed in numbers and soon the capsule opened up, letting a white cold mist out. Rouge looked at the hedgehog and noticed her change in appearance. Rouge was shocked and looked on the screen to see that there was a serum inside her whole entire blood stream. She was more suspicious now than ever, wondering who could have done that to such a innocent child, when the answer came to mind. Rouge looked over back at the she-hedgehog and had a sympathetic look in her turquoise eyes, now knowing who was responsible for this. Rouge soon then reclosed the she-hedgehog's capsule, and jumped back into the air vent, closing it behind her and made her way back into her room. So, Dr. Eggman is behind this... I knew he was evil and cruel, but this is just unbelievable! Not even the doctor would be this cruel to innocent mobians!
