December the 1st

So far CaH Saga has gone on for 8 main stories and 6 side quests. I will give a short summary of each story and link to them. After this I shall tell off about my future stories and how long it’ll take before Dark reveals his past thoroughly. So, let’s start this.

MAIN STORIES

1. Christmas at Hyrule: (www.fanfiction.net/s/8754656/1…)
This is the very start of my stories and the name which the whole saga goes by. I tried to come up with a better name but CaH finally stuck with it.
Summary: The story starts off at the first day of December. Link has learned to know Dark for the past 6 and half years. They have been checking all of the Temples at the start of each month. Link trusts Dark but the shadow hides a lot from the Hero. Yet, the main thing is that Link wants Dark to live with him at the castle but each time he asks about it, Dark refuses. Eventually, the dark Hylian can’t take it anymore and he finally makes his choice. This choice starts a lot of things.

This gives bit of insight to the happenings of CaH through Dark. It has 4 chapters which are to be read with CaH. These chapters are 8, 13, 15 and 21. Honestly speaking, I think the first chapter is actually the best of this part. But, I tried to show off what were Dark’s reasons for his actions at each situation.

And here we have the happenings of New Year’s Eve. In short Dark is quite well getting on everyone’s way during the day. Link does try to come up with a ways to help him but people are feeling bit stressed which doesn’t help the dark Hylian at all.

Dark hadn’t given much of promise of staying at the castle. He feels that he doesn’t exactly belong into there but he’s not sure of what he’s supposed to do either. The week after the New Year’s Eve is quite full of happenings, both good and bad. The whole story is bit like told by Dark since he’s staying up during the seventh night and slightly reminisces on the earlier days.

So, Dark had promised to stay at least for two weeks at the castle. Now those two weeks have come up and he needs to make a decision. While thinking this through, he walks into a maze that is at one of the yards of the castle. It’s leafless and looks quite dead but the dark Hylian starts to check it out. After few small situations he gets out of the maze and starts to talk about it with Link.... Though, with one simple realization, the dark Hylian is bit angry at the Hero. This anger doesn’t exactly help them during their small quest of reviving the maze but Dark also finally makes his choice.

One of the longest one-shots I have about this Saga. This story is a straight continuation to Leafless Maze. Dark is feeling fully miserable about what had happened to the Hero. He even feels fully responsible about it even though it wasn’t his fault. Since Dark has a fight with Argan sooner than either wants to think about it, Link starts to try and help the darker Hylian to gain bit of stamina. He’s not worried about Dark’s moves but just about how long the dark Hylian can fight. At the end of the story Dark makes one new decision in his life.

Maybe bit more of a side quest than a straight continuation but I’m not going to change that. So, Dark and Link are taking a day off and create a castle out of pile of snow. First for Dark but not for Link. They decide to stay at there for the whole day. Most of the day does go well and they’re having fun but there does happen a slight accident......

This is probably the story that’s been waited for since Christmas at Hyrule. Dark is finally facing knight Argan in a swordfight. But the fight doesn’t go by rules and it ends up to having three fights until the whole situation is finally cleared. Yet, there are two things that the story gives: 1) Dark gains a new regret. 2) A new story which I don’t know yet if it’ll be a side quest or on main story. But, I’ll leave these to You to find out.

This is the ongoing story that is going to be very long one. Honestly speaking, this story started by couple of ideas. First idea came for Water Temple which is far away from here. And other is for the end of the story. Or actually couple of ideas for the ending. The rest ideas are coming as I write it.
Summary: There is a new threat in Hyrule and Dark is actually asked by the Great Deku Tree Sapling to accompany the Hero. As things start to reveal themselves, the dark Hylian realizes the reason for him to be along the quest. As things start to go further, new things are revealed about Dark. Even though Link doesn’t lose his trust in him, others are thoroughly different situation.
Ongoing, unknown amount of chapters for now.... Might be about 50+, though.

SIDE QUESTS

Valentine’s Day at Hyrule: (www.fanfiction.net/s/9009949/1…)
This is the first side quest I wrote. I’m not thoroughly sure since I’m lacking of ideas but this might end up being updated once a year for Valentine’s Day.
Summary: Dark has never celebrated Valentine’s Day and he’s bit confused at Link’s working of hearts and whatnot. Once the Hero explains the day, Dark is feeling even more uncertain. Things won’t go as either hoped for but they are certainly going to try and fix it.
Ongoing as once a year if things goes well, now it only has 1 chapter

Dark has fallen ill with a sickness that can kill even the strongest and healthiest person. Link freaks out thoroughly and rushes the dark Hylian into the Infirmary. On the way the Hero does few drastic things in hopes of fastening their walk. Yet, that only worsens things. As things seems to calm down, everything comes crashing down. How bad things can get?

This story has gotten surprisingly much of attention. Even so much that my updating caught up with my writing. Now I’m needing time to get the next letters written along with so much of other things.  -.-‘
Summary: Dark and Link, along with other characters, will answer to Your inquiries by letter! If You have anything to ask from them, feel free to send a question. Currently Dark and Link have gained most of the queries, well, especially Dark. But, few of other persons too have gained notion. The King of Evil, Final Bosses, Twinrova and Princess Zelda have also answered to letters. OH! And small presents are always welcome! I do try to get those included at some point to other stories but depending on lot of things these items might not get much of notion.
Important: The timeline placement with the answering of the letters varies! They do try to reply on the way where the current story is yet, the placement is probably years after Christmas at Hyrule. Sorry.

It is Dark’s first Halloween. Link has filled him in about the day and the dark Hylian has worked a lot with his costume. Once Dark actually realizes the whole situation, he’s bit freaked out. The only luck for him is that the Hero will stay beside him. The night includes fear, embarrassing situation, scaring, fun situations, bit of sadness and happy ending. Also, there will be slight planning for next year too. Shoot the guesses for Link’s, Dark’s and Zelda’s costumes before reading!

I have uploaded two CaH Saga stories in here too! The first is actually taking part to a contest which is held by DarkLinkLovers-group. The contest is called “Heroic Dark Link”. This takes place during fourth year of Ganondorf’s ruling. Dark has been send with few monsters to check Kakariko Village. He certainly is NOT happy to be in there with these creatures. The dark Hylian is actually hoping for easy and calm night but that doesn’t happen.... Before he knows it, things start to go wrong lot faster than he’s willing to admit.

This is simple tidbits of Dark’s life story. The “story” starts off from somewhere where the story currently is and it also ends into the same part. Everything between is Dark’s reminisces about his past life. I hope it’ll give bit more of clarification to his life and the way he’s acting for most of the time.

The given titles might change once I get to write them. These are also for myself so I can return here and see what I had planned next. But, these, hopefully, will be something You guys are going to be eager to wait for!

Week to Live
Link and Dark have ended into a hard situation and only one of them return back home. The one returning is only having one week to do as the bad guy whishes before death falls upon the one left behind. As the situation goes further and harder since the one who returned is constantly under watch, there happens something unexpected that changes the whole situation thoroughly.
Main Story, about 7, max 9 chapters long

Situations from their lives
This has scenes of their lives, one-shots. There will be happy and sad parts. So far I have thought about simple things like hair cutting. There is one more too but I don’t know how to explain it without giving too much out. This is still on thinking and idea part.
Side Quest, Ongoing

Untitled
A new threat rises against Hyrule. This threat has used Dark as its way of getting back. The dark Hylian decides to try and see if he can do something to change things around but only ends into huge trouble. Link heads out with Zelda to fight the enemy and save Dark. I shall warn already in here that the ending will be harsh, yet this only leads into a new story.

Child from the Darkness
An unexpected child gets itself involved with the Hero. Yet, things won’t last and they have to part ways... Only to Link head back for the child’s help. Who will this child be and why is the Hero so interested on the kid?

Lord of Shadows / Body, Mind and Soul of Shadow
Dark has ended up into bit of hard situation. His condition isn’t the best but he leaves to find a cure for it. Link accompanies him even when the dark Hylian is fully against it. They gain help from Lord of Shadows whom Dark isn’t too happy about. To lift the mood slightly, Link calls their new help as LoS (could be said as: Low S. ). As they go further into a new land, the Hero’s own condition starts to change for worse but he hides it thoroughly from Dark and LoS. Eventually they reach their destination but is it too late by then?

Happy Times
Dark has fallen in love with a woman. These are small snippets of their time together. One idea for this is simply “buying things for the loved one”. This story is still mainly under thinking for ideas.

Loved
Link loves Zelda more than anything but he’s bit worried for Dark’s sake. The dark Hylian hasn’t yet fallen for anyone.... Until one simple day at the Market. That’s when things change and the Hero does anything and everything to get these two together.
Warning: This story might be extremely fluffy since I’m quite a romantic. I myself haven’t fallen in love. Though, I did have one small crush once. =/

Family Life
Dark, sorrowfully, moves out of the castle with his love. He isn’t fully happy about it but he’s eager to start his new life with her. Things go well nearly for a decade but that’s when it all crashes down. Link, getting worried since he hasn’t gotten any notion from the dark Hylian, comes to check that all’s fine. Inside of few days Dark moves back to the castle with his son. Getting settled in isn’t any of easy thing but things start to go better as the time moves on.

Ghost of the Enemy
A new threat comes forth. This time it doesn’t attack straight away but uses a new way of doing its evil deeds. Dark, horrified about the way the enemy attacks, leaves to find a way to fight it without losing someone extremely dear to him. The road isn’t easy but he finally returns with the cure.... But it isn’t permanent and soon all hell breaks loose. How can he fight against something he could never kill?

Memories of Dark Link
And here is the story everyone is quite certainly been waiting for. The revelation. Dark finally confesses to Link and explains his full life story while showing what he has been hiding throughout all these years.
Warning: The story WILL be rated M from the second chapter forward! The first and last are rated T, though. BUT, because of the midsection of the story, it will be left M IF it goes further than the first chapter.
Notion: IF You guys are willing to hear Dark’s WHOLE story, then the ONLY way to get the story updated is by drawing a picture of one scene from the story. I will inform my own wishes at the end of the chapter but everything else is up to You. If You don’t want to draw what I wish for, then You can always draw my wish as a small picture in the corner and the bigger picture is the main part.
