Veressa Windrunner Armor Detail

To all who wish to draw Vereesa, this is my interpretation of her in-game armor. You are free to use this reference as you please, I just would like to see what you do ;D

So, some guesswork went in here, as to how divide the the elements of the armor on items of their own, what part is what. Of course, this is just my interpretation

1- Leather buff jerkin(buff coat, goes under the chestpiece proper. Made from leather and cloth, is light armor piece that offers some protection -mostly against swords and blunt attacks- Confortable enough to use casually

2- The chestpice proper, sort of a scales cuirass. As a headcanon, I find difficult to believe that rangers wear mail, it would be too heavy. so to me they use some sort of animal scale -much harder than leather- that gives their armor that sort of “cracked” look. The idea is based from Sylvanas armor, what is that material? I doubt it is plate -even more heavier- it looks like scales :3

3- Tabard, that simple. Only fron view cause the back is pretty much the same, just with less boobs

4-Another simple one, the gloves. Scale, leather and metal moldings -Also true for the cuirass, the idea is that the metal is kept as a minimum working as a frame, to balance protection and weight.

5- The greaves, pretty much the same composition than the gloves. Vereesa’s model doesn’t use the same graphic than the set boots, so I tried to come up with something sleeker than the set boot, but with more “shape” than her model. Oh! Also, these have gem sockets. Also a scale guard for the instep-

6- The boot proper. Just a simple boot with a sensible heel -elves love sensible heels, that’s my headcanon. fun fact, that’s the same desing of Kelares boots!-

7- The belt! black, hard leather. This is the one piece of the set that is unique to Vereesa and uses instead of the set one. Just badass.

8- Pants! same materials as with the leather jerkin, so its comfortable to wear. The “braided” leather in the thighs -and arms- is stronger than normal leather.

9- Shoulderpads. Scale+metal framework and gems.
