Too young to be sure of anything, but though he seems to have a large body as a cub, this will be proved wrong as Dezz is lithe but well-muscled.

Being the one who usually stands without speaking, at first some may consider it shyness. However, Dezz is soon known to be always lurking in the shadows and watching everything carefully, gathering as much information as he can. He's never the one to start a conversation, and he tends to not speak a lot. However, that doesn't make him a cold feline. He's actually quite cool to hang with once you know him better.

Being quiet doesn't make Dezz shy. He's often interested in knowing more and often has the courage to check places his siblings, or whoever is tagging along with him, doesn't want to. This is a cub trait that will almost disappear as he grows, giving way to a controlled, calm cat. However, it will show up sometimes as the need to speak his mind when he thinks a way is better than the other, no matter is the one who has the 'othe way' is his leader or a cub.

An ability inherited from his father, Dezz is extremely cunning and always finds a way to get out of trouble. He also has Scaeden's silver tongue and is very good in convincing others. This will later prove to be as important as any battle skill he masters, but as of now his cunning is usually used by his siblings to plan ways to get into mischief or get out of trouble.

Loyal to his Empire to the end, Dezz is not too affectionate towards other felines, especially if they are from other territories. With a inherent dislike towards the Hunters, Dezz wouldn't hesitate to drive one of them away from his lands when he's older. Being the kind of feline that has a lot of acquaintances and few close friends, those he truly cares about (and not only because they're in the same Empire) will be defended with his life if necessary. Being naturally quiet, Dezz would not someone's secret without permission, though this sometimes can get him in trouble, especially if it's something wrong, that interferes with his loyalty with his Empire. Still, as much as it hurts him, he would never betray a friend's trust. Dezz is especially dedicated to his siblings, usually taking to himself the task of caring for them.

As most of cubs, Dezz is always eager to learn more about the world he lives on. One thing that he really likes and usually go and asks to have (which is rare, given that he never speaks his mind) is to learn more about the city of Massilia and the Bounty Hunters, as well as the life in the coliseums and the other Empires. He drinks information and adores to learn more. As a cub, he's more adventurous and is capable of walking alone to see around, but as he grows this will only be shown as the desire to keep learning more.

Like many cubs, Dezz dreams of getting a high rank when he's older. He loved learning more about the politics of the Empires and has the fire to defend his Empire-mates. He's not into this for the power, but he cares deepely for his Empire (even though he doesn't show this often) and wants to defend it at all costs. If not a leader, then the best gladiator he can be. He admires Soren and sometimes (try to) sneak after him to learn more about being a leader and how to care for his Empire.

An unusual trait on a cub, that's not so strong as of now, is that Dezz doesn't like to dwell on his emotions, and finds himself confused and out of his environment when this happens. He always sees the logical side of everything. As he grows, this will be much more proeminent, reinforcing the idea of him being a cold cat.

The few that are lucky enough to be called friends by Dezz soon learn he DOES have a happy, carefree side, usually controlled by himself. He is able to laugh and run and play and get dirty with those he cares for, and will always be there for those who need him. He'll sit down and lick your tears and say everything will be fine when you need to be conforted, and he'll laugh and make you smile when you're happy. His smile is seen less and less as he grows older, but when it IS, is enough to either make everyone else smile or get shocked, surprised to actually SEE him smiling.

Being quiet and having the reputation of being cold doesn't make Dezz a annoying feline. He's always polite and actually friendly with everyone, especially with those that are new and rather shy. 

Dezz took most of his self from his father, Scaeden. Had he been born in Massilia and trained as a fighter or Bounty Hunter, he'd have grown up to be a heartless monster and a nasty killer. But, being in Fire Empire and with the influence of Alynnia, his good nature was nurtured. As the young cub he's now, he takes more after his mother, being adventurous and bold like most of cubs. When he ages, however, more of his father's traits will be seen, and he'll be mostly quiet and keeping to himself, as well as being as cunning and silver-togued as Scaeden was. However, he won't have his snarky, laid-back attitude and won't like lazy or childish felines very much. However, that won't keep him from being polite and gentle with them.

Dezz was born to Alynnia on Fire Empire along three other cubs. Right now he keeps learning about the life in his territory and already dreams high. Mostly staying with his siblings - not out of fear, but to keep an eye on them - Dezz is growing into a fine, healthy young cub. 

The only thing he wonders about is his father: who sired him? But all his mother says is that he was a strong, brave feline. Dezz dreams to meet him someday, even if to ask him if he's proud of his son.

[Rational, Reckless, Proud]

Being too rational for a cub is a gift and a curse. It helps him to warn his siblings to not poke their heads in every hole they find, but also gives him the reputation of 'boring' and 'cold'. He's hurt by that, but won't change his ways just because someone says so. As he grows and gets more balanced, his Empire-mates will notice he grew into a fine, loyal Fire Empire feline. Sadly, this didn't happen yet, and Dezz struggles with the need to be himself and not what others hope he is. 

A cub trait, that will disappear as he grows up, is Scaeden's laid-back nature. It's not a strong quality of Dezz even when he's so young, but being so little he does like to laze around and run away from his mother or disobeying orders. This trait will be reduced to almost zero when he becomes an apprentice, and will nearly disappears when Dezz is an adult.

Not usually seen in this hybrid  in his cub/apprentice years, but as an adult Dezz will want the respect he deserves. Though he won't let others know how hard is, it really annoys him when he has to do something he doesn't think is right. He won't be getting into many arguments, hopefully, but he'll have his opinions and will get really pissed off if someone doesn't respect them. This will also make him a little stern as a mentor, but his caring side will show that this is only to protect his given apprentice.

- Though Dezz seems distant and too adult-like for a cub, he can open up sometimes and have some (few) friends;

- Dezz isn't the kind of cub that would lead the others into mischief, but always follows them and is quick to find a way to not get into trouble;

- Though his tail is built up like a margay's, it's not as long as that species' and is more fluffy, like a lynx's;

- He tends to give his paws some licks quite often;

- He has a small kink on his chest fur.

Though one would think Dezz prefers to be alone, due to his quiet, and for some, cold behavior, this feline needs the support of his friends and family to actually be worthy of something. When someone he cares for is angry at him or when he's left alone, that drains Dezz's will to train or fight. He hides it well, but he's not the kind of feline that would have survived as a loner.

Due to having well muscled, yet not bulky body, Dezz proves to be a great runner when he can. He doesn't like to use that skill very much for running away, though. This will later increase his agility and his prefferred battle strategy, of attacking the enemy and quickly running away from their reach.

Having lynx-like pawpads, made for walking on the snowy environments, Dezz has amazing stealth. With the proper training, he'll soon be able to walk without making a single sound most of the times. This, added to his fur color, that helps him hide on the foliage, makes Dezz hard to be spotted.

Dezz wasn't born with a perfect stamina. Good enough (4 of 10), but not as good as he wants. So, in his apprentice and gladiator years, he'll keep testing his limits and pushing himself, until he can manage long hours of battle and trainings. He still won't be good at running fast for a long time, though.

Being a medium-sized feline who is not bulky, Dezz's strengh is not so good. He still can take on a feline twice his size quite easily, and even fight with a larger cat, but he's not extremely strong as, say, Soren. However, Dezz DOES have muscles under his fur, he's just not massive, actually, as he grows his body will be more lithe, as his father's, yet well-muscled.

Dezz's intelligence will soon be known in his Empire, and should the Hunters dare to invade his territory, in Massilia as well. He'll be very good at coming up with strategies and tatics, as well as mixing the movements he learns - be it on hunting or in fighting - to get better results. As his father, he's extremely cunning and has a very convincing voice, managing to use facts that, for one, have no relations, together to support his opinion.

Due to being rather lithe for a feline whose body is built up more like a Lynx's, Dezz's defense is not that strong. As an apprentice and gladiator, his armor will be used to help his quick movements as well as for great defense. He can stop some blows, but usually his tatics will be to get away from them.
