Balios could hardly believe his eyes, right there in muzzles reach stood his old friend from the times of battle and blood shed. He stared in utter disbelief as Eski trotted towards him, greeting him with a  friendly nicker. It was as if the two had never been separated, how he had managed to survive so long without Eski dragging his ass out of trouble, Balios had no idea. Nickering back he closed the distance between them.
