Voice Manipulation

 

As the term states, due to her mother’s lineage of singers, Francois was gifted with a very beautiful and versatile voice. She can alter the frequency of her voice to actually copy the exact frequency of another person (like a bird as you may say). This ability of hers has two branches and one passive skill.

 

Passive: Francois can mimic the voices of people 100%.

 

Offensive: Francois can alter her voice range from the least audible frequency (to humans) until the highest range possible (almost close to sonar). This can deal a heavy blow and cause severe headache to the listener.

 

Defensive: Francois can use her voice to also boost her allies vitals and mental capabilities if she uses as certain frequency- like how you feel energized or relaxed whenever you hear a good tune or your favorite music- but only for a span of ten minutes AFTER she lets you hear the tune/frequency.

Passive limitation: she needs to hear the voice first and she can only do this four times a day- her vocal chords get strained after continuous use but she recovers fast enough if ever the time comes to use this skill one more time

 

Offensive limitation: She can only produce frequencies that hurt ten times every hour. She needs to rest her throat every now and then (kind of like reloading a gun)

 

Defensive limitation: She needs to know your likes, preferences and has to be close enough to her partner for this to work. If you don’t get along, her voice won’t affect you as much.

Francois is driven by vengeance and she wants it done on her own terms but on the same field as the kingpin who murdered her family. If you want to find a man on the underground…you go to the underground. The joining the mafia headed by Don Elias is one way for her to get info on the group that killed her family and it helps her be updated on movements as well. She has no issues being in the mafia as long as she serves her purpose. (So she be business like when it comes to the head of the mafia.)

Francois is a quiet, tough, cold hearted individual who values professionalism and doesn’t give a care if you plead for help- on the outside. She actually is a caring person who values the people she meets but due to her circumstances she hides these facts about herself and show a very distant, serious personality instead. It may not look like it but she gets shocked a lot but has learned to not show it at all with her trusty poker face, accompanied by her habit of covering her mouth with her hand. Despite the cold shoulder she gives, she does know how to work with people. Also, despite the fact she used to hail from a fairly wealthy family, she is very humble in attitude and demeanor. On the other hand, she may be down right crude and be verbally offensive if she just down right dislikes you ...and if your rude in the first place.

Francois is the fourth daughter out of seven children (4 daughters and 3 boys) in the Nouveau household- a fairly wealthy family that resided in Florence, Italy. Born to a mother who happens to be world-famous songstress and a father who heads a four star restaurant called "Esperanza", Francois lives a rather well off life filled with luxury but she has a family filled with love, unlike some families that have money, business, and dealings as their center. She is the only musically gifted child out of all of them (her 6 other siblings all inherited the culinary/business skill of their father) which made her very close to her mother. Her mother saw Francois' potential to be a vocalist and devoted her spare time teaching her how to use her voice for singing as well as mimic certain sounds and voices for the fun of it (note: Francois mom may sound serious but she's a total fuddy duddy and loves to just make weird noises when she's not signing... therefore leaving poor Francois to learn how to mimic weird voices and sounds)

Her family was living a peaceful life until her father crossed paths with a strange business man. This certain business man was very persistent in offering a joint venture in which the man offered to start a branch of their restaurant in Rome. The father was not attracted to this deal despite the promising very high prospects, not only for the fact that he did not trust this mysterious business man but also for the fact that the proposal had very gray areas that could lead to future trouble. Francois father continued to decline the offer each time the business man visited their home, persistently urging to agree to the deal. A time did come that her father reluctantly agreed to the deal due to financial trouble that came as mysteriously as the businessman did. Despite the seemingly unimaginable coincidence, the family had no choice but to take a risk. Strangely enough, when they had partnered with the businessman, things had become better again and the branch restaurant was highly famous in Rome. This proved to be a sweet cover for the bitter truth however, when the night came where the businessman invited the Nouveaus to a dinner party in Naples.

The Nouveaus were on board a cruise ship headed to Naples where they were silently murdered in their private quarters after learning that their branch restaurant in Rome was actually used as drug trafficking base and black market drop off without their knowledge. The father had learned of this first and tried to save his family but was gunned to death, while the mother who accidentally heard the whole incident tried to warn the children to flee but was gunned down as well. The children who were staying at an adjacent room found out about the horrid incident by chance and tried to flee for their lives but were annihilated. All but Francois of the Nouveaus were found dead the night after. She was able to be saved thanks to the unselfish act of her eldest sister, Dulce, who managed to take with her 2 of her siblings- the youngest son and Francois- and hid them in a life boat. She was gunned on sight after hiding her siblings. Unfortunately, the gunner around the area was not convinced that Dulce was alone and started to look around. In order to save Francois, the youngest son, Soleil, decided to act as a decoy to lead the gunner astray. Before Francois could stop him, he took cargo which he shaped into a human figure covered a blanket like cloth and began to take the gunner's attention. The gunner took bait and shot Soleil, and he fell overboard, taking with him the dummy causing the gunner to believe he had killed 2 of the 7 children in one go.

Francois, too shocked by what happened remained in the lifeboat until the coast was clear and evacuated the cruise ship without notice on the next stop. Only then when she was safe was the time she was able to let all of her emotions go- her sadness for the death of her family, her her hatred for the kingpin who caused this, and her confusion as to what she should do from now on. After this, she began to fend for herself and promised herself to cast vengeance on her family's murderer.

10 years past as Francois traveled to Venice, where she assumed a male guise and lived off the measly money she got from performing on the streets and the pay she got from singing in bars. A tip she got from a semi reliable source told her that the kingpin was around this area. Despite any cons that could come out of it, she decided to join Elias' mafia with the idea of her having an advantage to track down the kingpin within the networks of the undergound itself. She made a visit to the  Murano Glass House to ask for assistance in her endeavor and she offered to work for the mafia in return.

There was no going back. She took the risk. All for vengeance..

Ilianois Saron Adler - They met in a bar by chance. Neither friend nor enemy, he usually hangs with Francois who calls her weird nicknames like "Frankie" much to her chagrin. She keeps close distance with him because he know her secret that she's a girl. They have a friend-hate relationship as she's grown used to him now after encountering each other several times and is often taken care of by him but just gets plain out annoyed each time he makes things awkward. Happens to be very tsun when around him (LOL)

NEW: They work well in battle as she provides him backup each time he imprints as well as healed him during a mission. He does the same whenever she becomes vulnerable emotionally and physically. 

Felix Garrott- Same as Ilian, they met in the bar Francois works at. She doesn't know him that well yet to form any impression but is well enough of a person for her. He became a babysitter after that one incident where she got drunk along with Ilian ( who was drunk after being served a Spiked drink)

- She's the only one to NOT get a six with the Don or anyone for the matter (this is the only thing she stated as a condition to work with Elias' mafia)

- She loves to sound like an ostrich, hippo, and goose when she's alone and bored....DON'T ASK

-She doesn't like it when people mess with her scarf. So don't really try to do anything with her scarf :l

-Don't be touchy with her face and torso area... or you'll regret it.

-Francois is VERY talented with the guitar and piano (pair that with her voice and you’ve got a critical combo)

-Never touch her when eating (she turns rabis when it comes to food)

-Francois may look like a cold hearted person but she can be very very awkward and funny IF YOUR REALLY CLOSE AND SHE TRUSTS YOU WITH HER LIFE. (so far that hasn’t happened so..good luck to anyone befriending / working with her)

-NEVER GIVE HER SILLY SOUNDING NICKNAMES OR YOU’LL SEE BULLETS (unless your Ilianois or Elias)

-You’ll rarely get a chance to talk to Francois unless you find her in the park or bar in specific times (but if you set up a meeting, she’ll show up)
