Hey everyone. So holiday break started so I thought I might as well make a journal. So, I was thinking that I could do some art trades with people, full body character art and the like. Something to keep me drawing during the season, so just ask away in the comments or drop me a note. Well then... happy holidays.

I felt that since I've been so inactive lately that I give some semblance of an explanation. How I've been running my DA lately has been pretty much uploading only finished works so naturally uploads will have some space in between. However my drawing tablet got busted up last month and I haven't been able to get any colouring done. It's getting me a bit scared of having to get used to digital art again but oh well.
That being said I accidentally neglected to put up one of my drawings so that'll happen tonight.

been a while
Well I haven't done one of these in forever and a friggin fortnight so here I go. Been trying to focus on improving my art, studied proper anatomy, face structure, perspective, all that jazz. Right now I'm working on colour schemes that don't look like butts as well as shading. Other than that I saw guardians of the galaxy during the summer. It was amazing and pretty much the sci fi action movie that I could have only hoped would exist one day. It got me into the new rocket raccoon series by Skottie Young which is amazing. Been playing a ton of dark souls and its sequel and started another x-com: EW playthrough. I guess that's it.

so it's my birthday today, figured it would be a good time to do one of these seeing as my last one was over a month ago. Well summer started so I have a bunch of free time. At the moment I'm thinking of taking up rotoscoping. If you don't know what that is well it's a method of animation that involves drawing over live action footage. It has a really sweet look to it and was used in the Ralph Bakshi rendition of lord of the rings as well in one of my favorite games in recent memory: "The banner saga".
