Let me introduce you to Slade(Sl-aid). A 127 year old teenager. Doesn't make sense? Okay then. Well when he was 17 his island was under attack. All different mobians lived there that all had one thing in common. Water Bending. It was a safe haven where they could all live in peace and use their powers to help their every day lives. But as time went on, a new age came. Where technology came about. GUN grew nervous of the power the Water Kingdom held and send troops to take them down.

Slade was a warrior on the front line. As he grew exhausted the tribe leader could do nothing but watch from afar. Seeing his family and friends being striked down. One by one. He watched closely at Slade. Seeing how he attacked wave after wave of enemies and refused to give up. All the other warriors had been striked down in the first few waves. With a heavy heart and his mind made up, he used all his strength and energy to shoot a beam at Slade. He was frozen in a neat crystal as he fell off the side of the GUN ship he had been attacking and sunk to the bottom of the sea.

The crystal merged with the ground after a few years, growing out bigger like a plant growing roots until it was wedged to deep in the ground, it wouldn't budge.

He still waits there, waiting for someone to awaken him to the newer, safer world.
