Want to receive some feedback on your artwork? Welcome to the Feedback Corner, where deviants can give each other feedback and receive some feedback (as well as a feature) in return! :eager:

How this works

  1. Reply to the most recent comment on this journal and leave a constructive comment of at least 3 sentences. If you would rather leave a constructive comment on the actual artwork, you may do that as well. Just remember to comment here as well to let people know that feedback has been given. :D
  2. Write a new comment on this journal with the link or thumbcode to an artwork you'd like some feedback on.
  3. Wait for someone to reply to your comment, and then feel free to continue on the cycle! The more feedback you leave, the more you'll receive in return, so give it a go~ :la:

Tips

Not sure what to write? Try writing one sentence each for the following things:

  • What you like most about the artwork
  • What you think the artist can improve on
  • The overall idea/feeling you received from the artwork

Feature

Everyone who participates in this round will receive a feature of their artwork from the group! :deviation: Thank you to the following deviants who left some very helpful feedback on the last round!

Ok so somehow I ended up with two critiques on the same picture so to make it fair I have critiqued a second piece of art. I have left feedback for ~ChantalIZ

“The most interesting thing about this piece is the fact that it’s painted onto a lightbulb, a very creative idea that works well with the subject matter. You can definitely see the inspiration that has been drawn from Banksy’s work and applied a unique twist to it to make it an original idea.

To go into improvement, I would say perhaps some experimentation with various colours (however I think the monochrome effect works very well here), or to extend the painting around the entire light bulb as from what I can see it’s only on one side? If you were to experiment with anything like this again you could consider leaving little parts unpainted so that the light could shine through and make patterns.

Overall it’s a really creative way of working, definitely a unique idea and a one of a kind piece of art. Very nicely done.”
