The most noticeable thing about Pharion is his size. Even for an Arcanine, he's about a foot and a half taller than others, but still equally proportioned.
His fur is also very thick and fluffy, his tail especially.
As a large pokemon, he's also got a rather large appetite.
He is very fond of children, even though his size might scare them away.
He's an easygoing pokemon that can get along with almost anyone.
Pharion left home when he was young, due to extreme pressure from his parents. The details are rather foggy since he avoids the subject.

========== WRITTEN TEST ===========

It really was a fantastic day in the city of Andalusst city, or the Dreamer's Eye. It didn't really matter too much to Pharion as he trotted down the bustling streets. He wasn't really very used to cities, and...well, being such a large Arcanine, the pokemon had to move around him, and he had to make sure to be careful where he stepped. He didn't have a particular reason to be in the city, but from everything he'd heard, Andalusst was a fantastic city for wanderers, and maybe Lilac would like to wake up in a city for once, where they could go and meet some people. Pharion looked onto his back, and smiled at his sleeping little Cubchoo. Ahhhhh, he was just the cutest thing he'd ever seen, no matter what.

Pharion turned his attention back to the road. It was packed, and he didn't really know where he was going, so he might as well try and familiarize himself with the streets, which meant hours of wandering. Still, tuning out the droll that was all the different pokemon groaning, mumbling, shouting, and talking to one another, the city was really quite nice. The houses were in great condition. The sky sunny sky was casting a pleasant light down onto the houses, helping bring out some of the more subtle colors. Absentmindedly, he rounded a corner...

He felt something bump against his leg, and saw a Furret tumbling down the street. It dawned on him that he and the Furret had collided, and he was about to step forward and try and help him, but then a cap fluttered down and perched itself onto his nose. The Furret picked himself up and angrily trotted over to Pharion, and stopped directly in front of him, glaring daggers into the much larger pokemon. "Watch it! Why, I oughta toss ya into the street for that!”

Pharion chuckled nervously and lowered his muzzle, offering the Furret his cap back. "Erm...sorry?" The Furret snatched the cap back and carefully placed it back on top of his head and leered at Pharion...before he started to chuckle....and then broke out into laughter. Pharion stared at the odd little man, thoroughly confused by this turn of events. "Er.....so...you’re not going to toss me into the street?"

"Naw man, I was just just joshin’ ya. Only uptight nerds fight over bumpin’ into each other. I didn't expect such a big fellow like yourself to have a soft core though." The Furret fished a coin out of his tail and flipped it into the air, catching it and looking carefully at which side it landed on. "You new around here? I’m guessin’... stepped outta the fog and got all confused? How close am I?"

Pharion stared at him for a bit, and wondered if this might be some form of fortune telling, or if it was obvious that he wasn't from around. "Well...your right about us being new here, but...what’s this about fog? I saw some thick fog on my way here, but I didn't go inside."

"Then you've got the senses to survive this part of the world!" The Furret said with a grin. He pushed the coin back into his tail, readjusted his cap, and smoothed out his fur from the tumble he had taken a few moments ago. Pharion smiled, and started walking off. He was a nice guy, but he did have something to be doing. Thankfully there didn't seem to be any bad blood between them. However, he felt something grab his tail and climb up onto his back "Anyway… name’s Cuffin. Pleased to meetcha! Now, how ‘bout you tell me who ya are?"

Pharion was a little surprised by the turn of events, but as long as he didn't disturb Lilac, it wasn't really a problem. "Well, my name is Pharion, and my little sleeper is Lilac." Pharion said warmly.

"Ahhhhh, the two of you are travel partners then?" Cuffin asked.

"Not quite, we're a bit closer than that." Pharion said with a slight blush hidden under his fur.

Cuffin grinned a bit to himself as he observed the reaction. "So, you guys lookin’ into the guilds here? They look pretty desperate for newbies. Think you’d wanna join one of ‘em?” Pharion slowed down a bit and started thinking about it.

"Uhhhhh....no actually." Pharion said lowly. "What are these guilds?"

Cuffin grinned, eager to show off his extensive knowledge infront of the newcomers. "Well, there are three guilds, if ya really be wantin' to know! First of all, you have the Explorers Guild. These are the guys that go and explore those ruins, and their also somethin' like yer heroes. You know, big-on-justice types. Second, we got the Hunters. These are the tomb raiders, the ones hunting for the loot inside the ruins. They follow the rules and everythin', but it doesn't stop them from crossin' a few lines when nobody's lookin'... . Lastly, we got the researchers. These are the guys that make the equipment and sell things, like rare berries. I s'pose you could also call 'em them merchants if ya really wanted to." Pharion nodded, taking this all in. He wasn't exactly the smartest, and running around as a Hunter didn't exactly sound appealing, but the Explorers...he looked back at Lilac, and then smiled to himself a bit. Maybe he woke up and told Lilac that the two of them were going to be hanging out with heroes, that would make his day for sure.

Pharion looked forward and grinned. "You know what....I think I would like to look into joining the Explorers!"

Cuffin chuckled to himself, but nodded "Really? I woulda pinned ya for that type. I guess they’d be glad to have ya, though. From what I know, they always want ya to have some kinda “team name” to work under ‘em with. What do ya think yours would be?"

Pharion paused when he'd heard that last bit. "A...team name?" He asked. He wasn't exactly the sharpest, so coming up with a team name. This would have to fit him and Lilac, and it would have to be something other people hadn't picked. "Let's see...fire and ice..." Pharion muttered to himself, trying to think up a name. After a few minutes of thinking, he paused again, and thought out loud. "Team Frostfire?" Pharion asked, hoping for a bit of Cuffin's input on this one.

Cuffin keeps a silent, straight face for a few moments. Then, the grin he was suppressing comes right out. “Well, ain’t heard that one before. You might not wanna walk into the rough parts of town callin’ yourself that… eh, or maybe do it anyway if you can handle yourself. I mean, no doubt you can probably bite pretty hard, or maybe you’ve got a silver tongue. The guilds look for stuff like that. How ‘bout you tell me what ya think your strengths are, just to get your story straight for when they wanna know?”

Pharion nodded. It seemed like a pretty straightforward request after all. "Well, as for me, I'm bit and strong, and I'm also fast." Pharion said. "I can breathe a lot of fire, run up mountains, and basically any physical labor that doesn't require hands. As for my sleeping friend back there....he's adorable, and really nice to talk with. He's also pretty quick, and smarter than me in some places."

Cuffin seems to listen intently to Pharion's explanation of their capabilities. He doesn’t grin, nor wisecrack. He simply hears him out. “Yeah… yeah, I can respect that. Everybody’s gotta get by in their own way, and there ain’t nobody who knows that better than me. If you play on your strengths, you’ll get far here, I bet.”

Pharion gave Cuffin an odd look. He hadn't expected such an oddly sentimental moment from a sly Furret, and then noticed his eyes were...off. They seemed rather pale actually, but he didn't have long to look, because shortly after, Cuffin hops off of Pharion and stands directly in front of him. He was smiling, though for once it seems to be in a friendly manner, rather than amusement at his expense. “I hate to deprive ya of my presence, but I’ve gotta bounce. I’m sure you’ll see me again, so don’t sweat it. I’m sure the guild’ll love to have ya.”

Pharion watched as Cuffin walked off into the crowded streets, and practically seemed to vanish into the crowd. "Huh...." Pharion mumbled a bit to himself. "He's pretty cool for a blind guy."
Ahhhhh, a collab team. This was supposed to go up on his page, but he's been missing a while for some reason, so I'll have to put it here until further notice.

Woohoo, looks like I'm not the only one with an Arcanine on my team who wants to protect their partner. This is literally the only other Arcanine I've seen so far other than mine.
