Description

This adds to the very long list of bird base-derived dragons, but it's less generic than most of them.
I call this a "snap dragon" because there is an audible pop when you pull the corners out after collapsing the bird base part.
The first version dates to 2008, which makes it the second oldest design of my own I still often fold. Major revisions were made in February 2013.
 To make the generic form of the base, blintz, rabbit ear the internal corners, blintz and rabbit ear again, and then fold the central square into a bird base with the flaps on the outside.
 I have an old video showing how to make an earlier version of this design. It's not a great video, but the making of the base is clear. The current version inverts the central point, but in the video it is kept on the outside.
