As some of you may know, I'm in the process of coming up with a better signature in order to better thwart theft. I've started updating some of the older pictures with it and after a while, I've come to hate it. It's intrusive and I think it ruins the picture. Of course, I could just leave it in the corner but then all the thief has to do is crop it out. The embedded signature is good idea but I've come to realize that it's not prudent enough. It didn't stop the thief from slapping Celestia on a pillow. Perhaps I need to make it a bit more obvious. There are a few ideas I've come up with. One being time sensitive pictures where I'll post new pictures with normal branding and I'll switch to a more intrusive branding after 3-5 days. Another idea is offering a normal branded picture for download for an insignificant amount of points hoping the 'block' would make a thief move on to another picture. The worse of the ideas is not uploading the picture at all which pushes me out of the game and switch to NSFW art which will make a big chunk of my followers go elsewhere. I know none of these ideas are foolproof against theft, but at least I'm hoping it will decrease it by a significant amount. Please let me know your opinions and suggestions if you have any.

With whatever decision I make on how to present my future art, something must be done with the older art. To be honest, half of it did not age well and I just want to throw it out in favor of more presentable pictures. I mean come on, did you see one of the first MLP pictures I've made, the intro photo of the mane 6? It makes my eyes bleed. Well, joke is on whoever bought that mousepad from the thief who stole it (the signature test image I posted used an updated version of that picture which I have yet to post). I've come to realize that not creating a background is bad for the new signature as it depends on dark colors for certain layer filters to show through. Half of the pictures I've done does not have a background. Some of the older pictures will get redone, I'm not willing to redo some of them because of the work involved and some will meet the trashcan. The ones remaining will be slapped with the intrusive branding but since i'm sure some of these are reposted elsewhere beyond my control, there's no point in updating them if the thief finds it on an imageboard. That leads me to consider doing something rash, deleting the whole lot and never looking back. I'm constantly having to go back to fix flaws and mistakes, I'm getting tired of it and I just want to fix it right the first time. I'm going to have to compromise and just up my standards a bit more and keep the pictures I really like.

This, my friends, is the curse of an artist.

*Sits in the corner and googles kitties*

In a lighter note, I'm reopening commissions because one, a few of you have been asking and two, I'm poor. Please note, I do have a day job and other commissions alongside yours so please allow a reasonable time for completing your commission.

Once again, art thieves ruin it for everyone.

*sigh*
