And here we go with another update in my quest to beat Ocarina of Time 3D. Now we're up and about for the Forest Temple. And bit more from there. Have fun reading this!

Keys and Stalfos fights
Okay, the road to Forest Temple was bit of work. I had, unfortunately, forgotten the road in Lost Woods. ^^; After about four tries I finally made my way to the first maze. If I remember right, there's four huge Moblins on the way. Three I managed to kill easily with my Hookshot. The fourth one, sadly, got a strike in. =( But, after that I got it finished. The last Moblin with the mace wasn't that of hard but it too got a strike in. >.< Yet, after that I got close enough and slashed it into the ground.

Next we meet with Sheik and learn the Minuet of Forest. This time around Link actually had bit better look of amazement when he learned the song. Then two Wolfos and, if I remember right, a Golden Skulltula. Surprise was that I killed other one of the two Wolfos' with one strike (jumped forward) while the second one I used bit more of time with. Then easy killing on Skulltula by Hookshot. Really love that weapon. =) Next on line to see the flames stolen. Again, Link actually got nice expression in there by the surprise. I think that Nintendo fixed some of these parts into the 3D version..... Or then I just have forgotten the expressions since the last time I payed this part was over a year ago. XD

Next I found three keys (if I remember right) by going straight to the opposite of the main room, outside into the yard and, which I forgot to say, one from the area where the Wolfos' were. ^^; So, first fight with Stalfos and it surprisingly went quite easy. Then finding the next keys were pretty easy too. After this I left to the road on upper area with the Blue Bubbles and such. Luckily got through the parts where the stupid hand falls down..... Forgot about it's name. =/

Anyways, I made my way to the actual fight with the three Stalfos' (first one, then two)........... And died......... >.< I have NEVER died on this part BEFORE! D= I handled the first one easily but the two other ones were giving me hell! I had always been fast enough to kill them before but this time I had fully forgotten that the first one comes back to life if I'm not fast enough....... And I didn't have bombs with me. -.-'

After long fight and at least one (if not two or three) re-fights, I finally got them killed. And got the Bow! =D And then for the Poe Sisters!

The Poes
The first two were fully easy. Shoot the paintings, go and wait at the end of the stairway and shoot arrows when they come out. Easy. :aww: The third one was bit harder. Sadly. I was, surprisnginly, fast with doing the nice little puzzle. Yet, the Poe was faster than me and got a strike in before I managed to run to the podium which has the way back to the main area. Once there I was in safety and I turned around to face the green Poe. Then similar work than with the two others. Wait and shoot. Was fast enough.

Now, the last Poe. In Gamecube I had been fast and the fight had been easy. So, I used same strategy. Spin Attack and then quick strike by Bow and arrows...... Just to realize that this idiot didn't go as far away from me as in earlier version of the game! >.< It got AT LEAST three or four strikes in me. *sigh* I was eventually fast enough and got it killed. Didn't die. Yay!

Phantom Ganon
So, down we go, move the blocks, step on the buttons, kill one Golden Skulltula and head for the last fight. I didn't check but I think I had one fairy with me. Yet, surprisngly, I didn't need that. ^^; The whole fight was much easier than I had thought about. And I even learned something: The Ganon that comes out is the one that is NOT slow in its movements! =D Sooo..... The guy got only TWO hits in! =P And then the second part with dead man's volleyball match...... Easy...... When I played on Gamecube, I actually died on this one. At least once or twice depending if I had one or two fairies along at that time..... I'm only having one bottle currently. ^^; Anyways, striking the electrical balls back was easy. Very easy. And I killed the idiot quite fast.

Epona
So, then cool little cutscenes and all that fun. OH! And the Forest Medallion looked like it came out of the screen! O.O I really wished to touch it. ^^; Was awesome. So, moving on...... I had tried to get Epona before Forest Temple but hadn't gotten to that part. Sadly. Either I should've listened to the guy's explanation of how to ride and then jump over one of the fences on the area OR then I just wasn't yet meant to have Epona. *shrug* Either way I finally raced against the guy and won. Was surprisngly easy and I stayed ahead of him whole time. And then it's just jump over the fence and off we go! =D And now I have Epona. And she looks so amazing! I could even say that she looks even better in here than in earlier game (N64 and Camecube). ^^;

Current situation
So, now I have gone back to Temple of Time and met with Sheik for second time. Was, by the way, freaky to get into there. Is it just me or is there more of ReDeads in the Market Place than in Gamecube's and N64's games?! ^.- Anyways, should've chosen the other way around the fountain since I got WAY too close for one of those monsters but luckily I sneaked past it. Whew. Then bit of talking with Sheik and learning Prelude of Light. Finally. At least now I don't have to go past those creatures anymore when I need to return into Temple of Time. Soo.... Next on line is Fire Temple and the road into there. =)

That's all for current update! Have fun!

you know what would be cool...if you could go back in time in the game and buy volvagia in the market like in the manga to make that whole little story come to life!

>.< I'm really hoping I'll get the game for my birthday, I'm so desperate to play it since I didn't even get the chance to do the forest temple on the original version :(

And getting closer and closer to the water temple there.....are you excited?
