pokemon trainer Maxine

So I decided to give this a shot. A pokemon trainer that I guess you could say was me in a way? Anyway, here's her info:

Region: Hoenn

Personality: Likes to compete in pokemon contests, but also enjoys the occasional pokemon batte. She has a fiery spirit, a big heart, and burning passion for pokemon. She's not a big people person, but she does have a few friends. When she's not doing contests she's exploring, meeting new pokemon, having adventures, and keeping it all recorded with the pictures she takes with her camera. She connects more with pokemon than people. Loves to explore and be with pokemon.

Background (also how Maxine and absol met): Maxine's family owned the hotspring in Lavaridge. Their spring was open to people and pokemon alike. She learned how to take care of pokemon from her older brother, who was a pokemon trainer, and her grandparents who ran a pokemon day care elsewhere. Her brother would come home from his travels occasionally and tell Maxine all about his adventures. One day, an absol was seen on the outskirts of town. At first the town didn't mind it, but soon things started to go wrong in the town. The ground would shake and sometimes large cracks would run all the way across the town. Rock slides would happen on occasion and they nearly destroyed the hotspring one time. The townspeople blamed Absol for the sudden chaos and began to hunt it down. Maxine however didn't believe that absol was the cause of it. "Absol is a dark type! How could he cause all these ground attacks?" she'd say to the people. But they wouldn't to listen to a, at the time, 9 year old girl. Every night the whole town would go out and  try to track down absol. One night, Maxine snuck out and followed the hunt (kids weren't allowed to come) into the woods. She heard a commotion and rushed deeper into the woods to see the townspeople attacking absol. It quickly fled though and the people tried to chase it, but lost sight of it. Maxine however continued looking in the direction she saw it flee and soon found it limping and suddenly collapsed by a fallen tree. Maxine rushed to absol and knelt down beside it. Absol opened it's eyes and was startled to see someone so close, but it couldn't run. "It's ok. Don't be scared. I won't hurt you. I want to help." she said softly. She took off her necklace that had an empty pokeball attached to it. "I can't carry you... But I could put you in this pokeball and take you somewhere safe and heal you and then let you go. I just need you in the ball to get you somewhere safe without the others seeing you." she said. Absol didn't look convinced though so Maxine put the necklace on the ground near it and slowly backed up. Soon however there were lights and voices heard in the distance. "Oh no! They're coming! Absol please just trust me! I won't let any of them hurt you!" she said hurriedly. Absol hesitated a moment and then finally touched the pokeball with it's nose and went inside. Maxine quickly put the necklace back on and ran back home as fast as she could. The next night everyone left again for the hunt. As soon as they left, Maxine went over to the hotspring and let Absol out of the pokeball. "Step in. It'll help make you feel better." she told it. Absol looks at the hotspring suspiciously and doesn't enter. Maxine goes into the spring and wades in the water. "See? It's nice." she says. Absol dips his paw in and then slowly makes his way in and relaxes in the shallow water. While absol relaxes, Maxine carefully reaches for her bag and takes out some berries and other things to heal absol. By midnight absol was healed and Maxine released it. Just as absol began to walk off, the ground shook. "Absol, what's happening?" she asked. Absol looks toward the mountains. There is a rumbling noise coming from there. There was a volcano somewhere up in those mountains Maxine knew about. It was what heated her family's hotspring. "The volcano!" Maxine said alarmed. Absol nodded. Unexpectedly, the townspeople returned early and saw Maxine with absol. "Run absol run!" she yelled as the people charged angrily. Absol fled and Maxine was accused of hiding it from them and betraying the town. She tried to warn them of the volcano but nobody would listen. Maxine became an pariah (social outcast) in the town and was locked in her room as punishment. The next day, the ground shook ferociously and buildings began to take serious damage. Maxine was in her room when this happened and her home began to fall partially into a sinkhole. The house was tipped at an angle and she tumbled across the floor and crashed through her bedroom window. As she fell she saw absol leap for her but she quickly went unconscious. Absol caught her before she hit the ground and the townspeople had seen the whole thing. Absol, noticing that he had the people's attention, raced toward the volcano while still carrying Maxine. The people followed, thinking that absol was abducting the girl, and finally saw the active volcano. Maxine soon woke up to see the whole town preparing for the volcano to erupt. She looked around to see absol sitting at her bed side with the pokeball necklace around it's neck. Both Maxine and absol were now accepted in the town and when the volcano erupted the town only suffered minor damages. On her 10th birthday Maxine decided that she wanted to travel and see knew pokemon like her brother. Absol accompanied her as her partner.
