Personality: Ethena is both crushingly loving, and extremely independent and stubborn. This odd combination results in her being a great annoyance by anyone's standards. What makes this worse is that she isn't really mean, so it's hard to be angry at her - she is really sweet, but also oh so annoying. She is also highly curious, and prone to just spontaneously wandering off with no real direction.

Things need to be done her way, or not at all. This is the attitude she has, towards anything and everything, even if there is no one around to see her refuse to do something. Pretty much the only things she will do voluntarily are sating her curiosity, and frolicking across the paddock. Everything else, including eating, she must be coaxed to do, asked very nicely and maybe bargained with a bit.

Needless to say, handling, or even better, riding her, is a royal pain. She needs a very strong, organized and patient person to work with her, otherwise everyone is just going to get a lot of grey hair. Ethena can be rather skilled at things if she lets herself actually do them, but such days are rare at best. She is very friendly, however, and usually interested in human companionship.

Loves other horses… A lot. She will lather them with attention until they can't take it anymore and chase her off, at which point she will just happily target the next horse, appearing completely oblivious to the fact that her affection is neither needed or wanted.
