Despite his innate desire to do good, Necalli unfortunately has a short temper and will lash out when irritated, physically or verbally. Despite being able to work efficiently with others when the situation calls for it, he becomes anxious when coerced into social gatherings and generally forgets how to communicate like a proper human being. However, his aggressive nature usually means that once he gets into a fight, he is perfectly willing to forgive the other party once he has considered the conflict to be resolved. It is rare for Necalli to hold a long grudge, but given his likelihood to get into fistfights and duels, it would be best for all persons to avoid annoying him.

Necalli himself was the most surprised when he was sorted into Slytherin, and often feels alienated even amongst the members of his own house. As someone who is ambivalent about blood purity and is full of disdain for rigid traditions, he finds it difficult to connect with his housemates. However, he is an extremely hard worker that tries to make the most of the time he has, and cannot be stopped once he has set a goal. Necalli does not actually realize how ambitious and determined he can be, but he has a fierce, hidden desire to prove his worth to his family, and to himself.}

Necalli Ocelotl has constantly been on the move since being born. His father, a Muggleborn auror working for the North American Magical Alliance, married his mother, whose family reached far into the magical history of Central and South America. However, his father passed away after a nasty incident with a lethifold when Necalli was an infant, and his mother slowly wasted away from illness. And thus, the task of raising the boy was placed with his mother's older sister and father; Necalli's aunt and grandfather.

Both his aunt and grandfather were very skilled in their fields, and Necalli was constantly beset with lessons from the two of them since they judged that he was old enough to learn. His grandfather, a Herbologist, would teach Necalli about the natural world, while his aunt, an Auror, trained him spartanly in self defense. Unfortunately, his aunt was so dedicated to keeping Necalli on his toes that it ended up leaving him with more than a few social flaws... And on the other hand, both his guardian's jobs kept them on the move from South America to North America, causing Necalli to learn how to adapt to a new living situation as fast as possible, while being completely elementary at socializing with his peers.

When Necalli turned 9, the trio moved to England so that Grandfather Isi could share his research with the English wizards, and Aunt Zyanya became an asset at the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. It was of little surprise to any of them that Necalli received an invitation to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft of Wizardry, but Necalli was secretly relieved that he would be able to stay in one location for the next seven years. Of course, every summer vacation became a new hell in first-hand training with his highly successful aunt...}
