OTHERWORLD CHAPTER VIII: Showdown in Sin City ( aka: Destiny Battle )

UPDATE Belated entry!

After gathering information and crippling the villains' forces in the previous chapter, the heroes take off to "Sin City".
Freeing their comrade Big Gina is their main goal, but also paying the villains back for what they've done.
Will it go down that smoothly? Highly unlikely!

The Mission Schedule has been updated, guys! With everybody gathered in Sin City, it's time to fight your heroes' counterparts!
Unless, of course, your hero's counterpart is one of the "Big Four" ( Shadow Reaper, Godfather, Centipede, Midnight ).
In that case - or in the case you have a character, that doesn't have a counterpart - you may borrow one of the villains, who's hero counterpart has been send home by Vigil.
In any case, portray a big fight between your hero and the villain of your choice ... and have the villain WIN in the end!

Membrane, Onyx ( Rubi Axeman ), Agent Slade, Demoniac, Director Hunter, etc.

Available NPC heroes:

If you wanna use one of the NPC's, run it by me first and wait for my okay, please.
I need to make sure the characters are not used by multiple participants at the same time.

Otherworld: Showdown With The Slayer Pt. 1
With the new information they gathered, the heroes set off to this universe’s Las Vegas, appropriately named Sin City, not only to rescue their captive comrade, Big Gina, but also initiate their next attack against Deathwatch.
They all headed to the luxurious high-rise buildings that surely were under Deathwatch control.
As she was going through one of the shady neighborhoods that were outside the richer section of the metropolis, Kriss found the silence unusual even for an improvise section. The Dhampir soon sensed the same feeling that she felt in the sewers.
Initially flabbergasted by this, Kriss went deeper into the ghetto as she got closer to the presence. She saw alongside building walls and fences were a strange image that appeared to be a twisted mockery of the crucifix. Up ahead was an abandon warehouse where Kriss could feel this presence was at its strongest.

Otherworld Ch.8 - Part 1: An Ant Amongst Giants?There are somethings they never teach you when it comes to being a hero. How to deal with alternative universe, how to keep your identity a secret when undercover, and how to deal with a hero whose gone bad.
Firefly was getting a crash course concerning the third part, as a rescue operation turns sour when a once great heroine Vigil appears working for a bad guys. Her attitude and reasoning made her think that coming to Otherworld was a terrible idea. "This war," Vigil said, "regardless of who's winning, is not yours to fight. And if you refuse to understand that, then I'll make you understand!"
Firefly was having enough of it. This was clearly a 'good vs evil' fight and Vigil was getting too 'high and mighty' for her tastes. In Firefly's mind, she needed a proper smack upside the head or a energy blast to the butt. Whatever works for her, really. Fate had other plans for her, though.

Ahead of her, she could see the famous Las Vegas strip spanning in all directions. She'd only ever visited it once in her own world, and hadn't really cared for it then. Here, it was worse. So much of the vile and greedy behavior that had permeated the original seemed to fill this place far more openly. The city wasn't as clean as the one she remembered. The poor and destitute, those whose lives had been ruined in the gambling halls and casinos overseen by the members of Deathwatch present, they were here in far greater numbers than she would have anticipated. Crime was... less criminal. The drugs and narcotics just seemed to flow far more freely. Really, the city was...
“Disgusting.”
She froze in her tracks. The voice that spoke was so deeply familiar that Alexandra's entire being practically shivered in anticipation. She'd been sent ahead after that relatively successful scouting mission to t Otherworld: Vs Killazoa    Trey ran as far as he could from the Mega-Beast, with Viola flying alongside him.
    "I don't see why we can't help that guy fight his counterpart!" Lady Blitz said.
    "He's got it covered! Right now, I don't want to be anywhere near that thing!" Fuzion responded. 
    Suddenly, he felt a harsh blow to his stomach and was sent flying back into a wall. If it weren't for the armor he was now wearing, he'd have been seriously injured. He looked up to see that he'd been hit by a cannonball, and further back was....
    "You!" Lady Blitz exclaimed.
    "Okay, either that cannonball hit me too hard, or that's me, with red in my hair!" The realization hit him, "Killazoa, right?"
    "And you must be Fuzion. If a small hit like that sent you flying, it's a wonder your Viola is still alive!" Killazoa spat. 
    "Wait, you mean in this universe...she's...."    
    "Dead, yes Otherworld: Vs. Ra Koo pt 1    "Oh man, not this thing again!" Tanook sighed as he watched the Mega Beast rampage, "Ya know what? Screw it! He's the pet of that cranky fleabag's counter, ergo it's his problem!"
    He turned and ran into the building, looking for anyone to fight, but in his heart he knew who he'd find.
    Sure enough, he entered a room and in it, sitting in a meditative pose, was Ra Koo. He looked more ragged and feral than Tanook, with no shoes and tattered clothed. His fangs were yellow and his staff had a spear shape instead of a hook.
    "So it's you...the one who never lost his home...." Said Ra Koo's voice, full of envy.
    "You mean the guy who never destroyed it! I heard all about what you did!"
    "I merely wanted what you want. Human friends. The fact that I chose villains is because here they are the winning team, much like you chose to be a hero simply because that earns you favor..."
