So, let's continue with me playing through Ocarina of Time 3D. And today's work is the Fire Temple. =)

Road to there
Since I have a good memory of what to do before going into the Fire Temple, this was easy part. And with the new realization that I had in Dodongo's Cave, I had much better luck with stopping the Goron-Link. (Before I had been putting the Bomb Flower on the road and wished for good enough timing. -.-') Sure, the kid got one strike in. =/' Anyways, I threw a bomb, or two, at the kid. First one stopped him and the second blew up a while after. ^^; Anyways, longish talk with him about the evil dragon Volvagia and the capturing of Gorons and Darunia having gone to save others and so on...... Yeah....... Luckily I got the Goron Tunic from the kid so I didn't have to pay for it. ^^; And now, with the Goron's information, I go into Darunia's room and move the statue off of the way. (Though, I did know this much already.) And then meeting with Sheik and learning Bolero of Fire. Cool song. =) And Link actually does have much better look on his face with learning new things than when he was a kid. ^^; Then blowing up few rocks and going into the Fire Temple.

Darunia
Truth to be told, I had not remembered the next part. I checked around the first toom but there really wasn't a way forward. One was a dead-end and another led into the road to the Boss Room. =/ So, since I checked the dead-end at first, I didn't have anything else than the way into the boss room....... And met with Darunia. O.O He asked me to save the Gorons and that he's worried since he's not having the Megaton Hammer with him. And then he goes to face the dragon. Yeah, had not remembered that. *sigh*

Rescuing Gorons
And then the first Goron to be rescued is on the left. Checked things off, got a key (yay!) and then checked the other side to find two fairies. Yes! .......Except that I only have one bottle. >.< *sigh* Anyways, left to check the actual area after that. The first room on the right is pretty easy. Except for moving blocks, fire Keese, fire Bubbles and crashing down blocks. So fun. -.-' Anyways, I blew up one wall, saved a Goron, got a key, went to check a way forward but didn't realize the situation. Returned to the room, checked another two ways but both were pretty much a dead ends. So, I went back into the room that's opposite to the boss room....... After long checking I realized...... I can climb the damn wall! >.< *sigh*

Killed few stupid Keeses, dropped a block down and headed to higher ground. In all reality the place was pretty much straight forward going. Hit switch here, climb there, button here, enemies around...... Uh, yeah, sorry. Um.... *sigh* I just went through the place and I already forgot how the rooms were in there! >.< Okay, let's see..... Fake doors. I blew most of them up and one I crashed with the Hammer. And all of the stupid doors slammed down on me. -.-' Didn't realize to move out of the way even though one of the Gorons told me about it. *sigh* Fire walls were pretty easy to avoid. Oh, and the few switches were easy thing since I dropped a bomb into them after having climbed up to the needed area. Was fast and easy without needing to worry 'bout the timer. The only timer I was nearly screwed was the one within the room of the Megaton Hammer but luckily I was bit faster than the timer. ^^; Though, it wasn't wasn't easy road since it was so thin. Anyaways, after that I took the easy way down aka the big "steps" at there.

Torch slugs were easy to kill. Three slices of a sword. =) Fire Keeses are easy too. Shield and slash. Took a while to realize how to go forward in that one room where's the metal ground thingy and the fire wall chases you...... But, I eventually found forward and jumped to the ledge and to the door. Unlike with the Forest Temple, I couldn't really stash keyes for later use. ^^;

Flare Dancer(s)
Was easy. Throw a bomb and go to slash it. =P And there's actually two fights with it. I thought it was just one since it's long while since I last played this place through. Oh, and if it manages to run away from you after about three slashes, round the block to other way and face it again! XD And once it's dying, it'll blow up so move out of the way at then. Didn't realize it during the first time but on the second I did know. ^^;

Volvagia
*sigh* And now to fight the dragon. :tears: I know in the game it's resurrected evil dragon by Ganondorf but in the Manga it's friend of Link's. =( And I go by the Manga. XD *sigh* This fight was both easy and hard. =/ Hard because of me thinking of the dragon as a friend........... And because I died to it............... And easy since on the second round (I took up new fairy from the room before and got full life by the other one) I didn't lose than two hearts to it. =/ This time around I shot arrows into the dragon after it came fully out of the lava. Though, that only worked out on the first time. XD Other times I missed it. -.-' After that it was just avoiding the falling rocks which was pretty easy thing as well as to run away as it chased me and tried to torch me..... On the second round, that is. ^^; And, I stayed most of the time at the edge of the arena so I could see all of the possible holes and figure out better where Volvagia woudl come out.

Other notions
So, once again the Medallion looked like it came out of the screen! O.O So cool! :aww: And then I realized that I can smash rocks with the Hammer! XD So, I visitted at the Great Fairy who's to right from the small cave leading back into Goron City and got my magic bar twice as long. =) And I realized that there is a possibility to go from the higher ledge into the lower one leading to the Great Fairy and so on. I always had thought that there was no chances of deciding inside the volcano which road I want to take: The Death Mountain Trail OR getting through the Goron City. Plus, I thought that the only way to get to the Fire Temple's area was either by the song OR by going through the Goron City. Talk about never realizing things before. -.-'

I also realized as I checked the map that I seemingly left few places unchecked........ Let's just hope I haven't forgotten to save a Goron or few. ^^; OH! And I was too lazy to try and find my way back to the very first room and so into finding (or getting) the Boss Key sooooo..................... I jumped down pretty soon after I had slammed the needed piece of rock to create the road to the Boss Room's Door. ^^; Talk about suicide jump. -.-' THOUGH, be amazed! I didn't lose than a heart or two! XD Hell, maybe less! I was lucky enough to land into the area where's the door to the first room. ^^; (Honestly speaking I was certain of Link dying on such drop! O.O)

Plus I had forgotten that I create one hell of a stairs at one point. ^^; I came into this one corridor where was two small crates, four fire Keese and odd looking statue / short pillar. Of course I killed the Keese, broke the crates and slammed my Hammer into the pillar. And I was actually surprised when the rest of the room fell down to create the huge stairs that Link needed to climb up. O.O So, went to check the way forward and realized that I need something to keep the button down so I could keep the bars off of the door. I did try to slam my Hammer into it but no help whatsoever. So, returned to earlier room to get the crates back. Killed the Keese and jumped down........ And only one crate was enough to keep the block down! XD I had thought about needing both of the crates but nope. =/

Song of Time is needed twice, though on the first time it's actually only leading into dead-end where the only good thing is the Golden Skulltula. On the second time you could've done it before needing to get to the higher ground to see the block. -.-' And in here you find a button which will release the Goron on the hallway. Oh, and there's a key in the chest with the Goron.

Flying tiles are easy to block by the shield. There's only two rooms with those and both of them are having Golden Skulltula and a LikeLike. *shivers* Just stay close to the door you came from, keep your shield out and shoot about three arrows into the LikeLike. And you're safe to go and kill the Golden Skulltula. =)

Current situation
So, where am I now? I know that I need the Iron Boots and I remember that I can get them from the Ice Cave.... Sorry, Ice Cavern. Had forgotten the actual right way of writting it. Anyways, I went to see Zora's Domain fully in ice and King Zora having that red ice thingy around him. Well, I'm not having blue fire which I know to need but thought I'll find it...... Just to realize that's not the case. -.-' So, I'm going to continue exploring Ice Cavern and find a way to find blue fire without losing my rupees on it. ^^;

So, the next time I write I'm either just telling the Ice Cavern OR then I'm going to include Water Temple into there too. *dreamy sigh* Getting closer to Dark! :aww: Oh, and questions can be asked just in case I've forgotten something. ^^;

*somewhere deep inside death mountain...a lonely goron sobs quietly* "How could Link leave me in here...boo hoo hoo!"

Really love these updates. I was wondering how you were getting on with it. I was sure too there was only one fight with the flare dancer. maybe it's been added in as two fights since it's a pretty easy battle?

Have you managed to watch the Real Ocarina of Time on you tube yet?

And you're getting closer.....he's waiting for you to find him! Are you going to do a journal entry solely dedicated to that one encounter?
