Commission Terms of Service

If you're interested in commissioning me, please read through all of this!  By contacting me about a commission you are agreeing to these terms.

If you have a question about any of the terms, please ask before commissioning me!

COMMISSIONING

I reserve the right to decline commissions for any reason, specified or unspecified.  I may think that at my skill level I can't adequately draw your character, or for some other reason.

I'm definitely willing to answer questions of what I will/will not draw before going through with commissions though!

Please make sure your information is complete when you send it to me.  I can't be responsible for errors if the references were inaccurate or incomplete.  That being said, I will ask questions if/when I don't understand something.

PROCESS

After I accept your commission, I will give you a rough time frame for completion.  Keep in mind that we all live busy lives, so if you have a large order, it could a while to complete.

After deciding on all the details, you will pay me.
I require full payment upfront, before I start drawing.

I reserve the right to cancel the commission if I don't receive payment or some form of contact within 48 hours.

My Process:
rough sketch >> edit >> lineart >> (possible edits/approval) >> color >> final touches

For sketches, there is no work in progress that I can show.

For CG commissions, I will show you wip sketch and lineart.  If you have additional edits past the lineart phase that were not clearly specified to start with, I may require an additional fee.

If you have any requested changes, you have one chance after I finish to tell me anything I may have missed (I will definitely change it if its something I overlooked).  If its something left out/unclear in the reference, I may change it if it is minor, but I will under no circumstances redraw a piece.

FOLLOWING UP AND CANCELLATION

I understand that commissions should be done in a timely matter, but I may have other responsibilities to fulfill at the time.  If you are concerned about the process, please do not ask for updates more than once a week unless I contact you.

I reserve the right to cancel/refund commissions in the case of seriously rude commissioners.

Cancellations on the commmissioner's side without a legitimate reason I can understand will not be refunded.

ABOUT THE ART

I have the right to display finished art as commission samples or deviantart and/or other websites, unless there has been a prior agreement.

I also have the full rights to the work as the creator, unless we have another arrangement

Finished works will be sent as transparent .pngs.

All artwork is for noncommercial, personal use only

You may use my art on other websites as icons, signatures, backgrounds, etc. as long as you don't claim you drew it.  Giving some form of credit is nice.
