Tiff vs Kyoko

Tiff was a native of Dream land. She was an intelligent Ebbirian, but sometimes can be a little short tempered. Kyoko was another Ebbirian. She spends most of her days sleeping, 12 to 15 hours! Despite this, she is kind and loves her friends. But what happens when these two go head to head?


One morning, Tiff was walking when she saw Kyoko sleeping on a box that said "Do not disturb." She decided to wake her up.

Tiff: *gets closer to Kyoko* "Psst, Kyoko."

Kyoko: *yawns* "What is it, Tiff?"

Tiff: "I want us to have a little contest to see which one of us can stay inflated the longest."

Kyoko: *sleepily* "That sounds like fun, but can we wait a few minutes before we begin? I want to be more awake for that."

Tiff: "Sure thing."

 
10 minutes have passed until Kyoko was finally ready.

Kyoko: *sounding more awake* "I just have one question."

Tiff: "What is it?"

Kyoko: "How are we going to inflate ourselves?"

Tiff: "It's simple, *brings out a weird looking contraption* I have a machine that can inflate us."

Kyoko: "Is it safe?"

Tiff: "It is. I performed a couple of tests on myself to be sure."

Kyoko: "What a relief. You really think things through, Tiff."

Tiff: "Of course, I do. Now let's begin!"

Kyoko: *excited* "You said it!"


Tiff started the machine and it was running smoothly. Both of them grabbed the hoses, put them in their mouths and were soon inflating.

Tiff and Kyoko: *giggling while inflating*

It wasn't long before they reached maximum capacity, now it was a matter of time to see which one will deflate first.

After about an hour, they started to have difficulty holding the air in.

Until at last with a gasp, Tiff deflated with Kyoko following shortly.

Kyoko: "Sorry that you lost, Tiff."

Tiff: "It's okay, the only thing that matters is that we had fun."

Kyoko: "I agree. We had a lot of fun. I think I'm going to take a nap."

Tiff: "You do that, I should be heading home."

Kyoko: "See you tomorrow."

Tiff: "Hope to see you too, Kyoko."

She walked away as Kyoko went back on her sleeping box.
